Worst dining experience I have had in a long time. I have been wanting to try this place for a while. It looks cute and was excited to try the eggs benedict. It was cold and tasteless. It took over 30 minutes just to get our food. The service is extremely slow. Very over priced. I am disappointed and will not be going back.

UPDATED REVIEW:
Through the pandemic, this has become my absolute favorite place to have a quiet coffee and conversation. 5 Stars from me. Well done Le Citron!
We are blessed to have a Euro-style cafe in New Braunfels. The expanded kitchen has led to even more scratch made patisserie treats. I like both the maple pecan scone and the oversized blueberry muffin. The paninis can also come as crepes, but the fruit crepes are my favorite. The indoor and outdoor seating might be the best place to have a quiet cafe conversation in town. The specialty coffees hit the right marks and they know how to infuse lavender into their drinks. If you’re looking for a cultural experience that reaches beyond Germany in our town, give Le Citron a try.

Love the atmosphere, amazing teas/coffee and drinks. Food not only looked great but tasted even more amazing! Fantastic little getaway from the world around us! You WILL enjoy!

I needed emergency coffee and found the good stuff here. Nice Bistro with a great view. Park behind the building. They have the typical American breakfast or quiche or crepes. All good.

Ordered at the counter. Have a good tip, then had to get my own food from the other counter. Every other group of people after is had their food delivered to their table.

Server was lovely in personality and looks. Mortadella(?) ham in crepe was tasty! Ambience bright, decor pleasing. Went there for coffee brunch with girlfriend. Probably more appealing to women's taste then men, unless European.

It's a small and very cute restaurant. Food was great, friendly staff and the ambience of the restaurant was great. I think it was a holiday weekend, where a lot of people were out after restaurants were beginning to open. I don't think the staff were fully prepared or organized because they were behind on orders, orders were being mixed up and waited more than 30mins for our order. But overall I would still go again, maybe when it's not so busy.

Yep, found my new local gem!!! Breakfast croissant was absolutely AMAZING!!! Paired perfectly with the drip coffee!!! The eggs were fluffy and hit that spot in the tummy. When in NB stop by!!! They also have happy hour!!

A really great and fun place to eat. I was with a group and all of us enjoyed our food. The desserts were delicious. We enjoyed the big table in the back room for our group. Plenty of room for everyone to sit. We all agreed to go back again for more good food.

Horrible staff. The older lady was extremely rude telling us that there is only one cook and not enough staff. We get it. Not enough staff anywhere. Then took another 20 min to get food that was over cooked and cold. Girl that waited on us was very sweet but the older lady very rude. Will never go back
