Really cheap drinks and a great atmosphere. Strong AC is a big plus.

This place is a hidden gem. The Frappe (called "Blended here) is excellent. The Blended had a very strong coffee taste, even though it has ice and milk. I have had sooo many that I've had to take back for an extra shot or two to make it taste like a coffee drink, but NOT here. I hesitantly ordered a chocolate chip cookie and ended up eating two. The cookies had plenty of chocolate chips, but what sold me was the taste and texture of the dough. The outside had a slight crunchiness and a nice soft middle. The barista did ask if I wanted them heated up, but if chef mike (microwave) touched it, it would totally ruin the texture. I told her (the barista) that it was a shame they don't have the same heating setup that Starbucks has. Standpipe gives Starbucks a good run for their money. Go and savor the difference!!

Standpipe is one of the best coffee shops you will visit in East Texas. The staff is friendly and always willing to help you find the perfect drink. If you need some food, they can recommend a pastry or one of the local restaurants within walking distance. The baristas are very unique and always are playing interesting music, giving it a very homey feel. Their drinks are delicious, and if nothing on the menu sounds good to you, they will assist in creating the perfect latte. My favorite drink is called a Blended Standpipe, which is a frozen latte made with chocolate, caramel, and hazelnut syrups. It isn't too sweet, nor too bitter, perfect for those who want the coffee taste while still getting a little bit of dessert. I would highly recommend this shop for anyone local or passing through.

Friendly staff, fairly priced. Can get a little congested during busy times. They do work hard to make things go smoothly though.

If you want to go to a great place for a great cup of coffee for s great price, come here in downtown Lufkin. Beats the big name coffee brands. Sit and enjoy a cup (they'll even give you a refill!) Enjoy the house blends by themselves or with add-ons. Great pastries too!

I am a huge fan of Standpipe for a few reasons.
1. Their coffee taste like coffee and not just milk and sugar.
2. The baristas and staff are all amazing, friendly and remember my name and my orders. Yes, that is plural.
3. All of their food is made from scratch and has the perfect homemade fresh taste.
4. Their customer service is as good as CFA! I had a friend get my lunch order. The barista knew I didn't like cheese but my friend thought I wanted all cheese. I called to see if I could bring it back to get veggies added. They made me a whole new lunch just the way I like and refused to let me pay for it.
5. I love the vibe and family atmosphere. Also, doggies are welcome!

If your sugar free/keto, they have more options than Starbucks! Great coffee and the bacon cheddar scone is addictive!

Great place to study, have good coffe, incredible tea and since they're doggy friendly, get to see some cute doggos! I really enjoy coming. I wish they had more vegetarian and vegan options.

Great coffee choices and mostly friendly staff. In recent months their prices have increased and flavor adds are also priced now. The store tip jar says 'help us pay rent' which is quite pathetic when you need to let your customers know you're having trouble paying your rent. But it is better than Starbucks. They have many Pokestops around them and a Pokegym.
