The Standpipe Coffee House

I typically am content with truck-stop coffee, as I don’t support big chain communist coffee houses. Good stuff here. Wish the owners would build in competitive locations, so locals can drive out the big chain coffee shops.

This place has a very small town feel and charm. Just don't go if you are in a hurry because they are very busy. I got a pumpkin latte off the fall menu. My order had the wrong milk but it was still delicious. Spent the morning chatting with a friend there. Will definitely be back.

They have a great choice in coffee, without paying the Starbucks pricing. Thank God for standpipe.

The drinks are a little on the sweet side but I adore this place. It is such a needed spot in the community to be able to come and connect over conversation and coffee. The ambiance is great and while it could use a little sound dampening to help with the noise level I really have no complaints. I highly suggest any of the baked goods but especially the kolache!

Very tasty, I ordered a smoothie and a blended coffee. My order came out fast, I had great service and the atmosphere was very peaceful. I went back and another smoothie 2 hours later. Keep up the good work.

Came here yesterday for the coffee. The best coffee in Lufkin Texas.We go out of our way to come here everytime we are in town. I always get a triple shot raspberry mocha. Yesterday I got my usual and a blueberry earl grey muffin and was not upset. If you live or are passing throu the Lufkin area I definitely recommend stopping by. Without a doubt will be back

I’ll tell ya what. This place is great. It’s adorable. The drinks are delicious and the folks are amazing. I’ll be back, sooner rather than later.

I love,love,love this coffee house. I go every chance I can. In fact my daughter and I have made it a little routine to go get coffee before I take her to school. I strongly suggest the Blended Caramel Latte with whipp cream! Fabulous
