Usually pretty good. They have a good selection of sandwiches for lunch. The place is a bit pricey for what you get. Don’t seem to have the variety of muffins and such when I’ve gone for one in the mornings. Nice atmosphere, though.

Deelicious spinach salad! Only 4 stars because of the dinky plastic eatery. I'm all for recycled products, but a big salad is just too hard to eat with small, bendable forks & knives, lol. We'll be back, though.

A recent (to me) addition to a small but growing list of decent restaurants in the Lake Jackson area. Meals are great. Minus 1-star because they don't offer any bread or chips while waiting. Everything else is great!

Great place to catch up with friends. Relaxed atmosphere, good food. Desserts to die for. Ordered one of their great sandwiches and ice tea for lunch but was annoyed when I noticed a 19 cent "non-alcohol" charge on my reciept. Not a big amount but seems unfair to charge extra.

Amazing food, amazing service! Definitely try the fried green tomatoes and the spinach dip. The salsa that comes with the dip was the best I've had, hands down. Will visit again soon!

Nice atmosphere with decent prices. I had the shrimp brochette and it had large shrimp with crispy bacon around it.
Margaritas are pretty decent and are regularly on happy hour.

I absolitely have love The Local. The did an amazing job catering my wedding! went above and beyond even because my baker made an error and The Local came to the rescue!! Every time we go in, they hold the door open, theyre quick, super polite, and you CANT beat the food ❤❤❤
