Good staff and food. The lunch menu is more a robust deli style. Dinner is table service, with full entrees. At dinner, try the pork; lightly crisp'd outside, tender inside, served on a bed of yams. Serves true mac n cheese, good sea food, some great chicken dishes. They are kind to dogs and have an outdoor seating area.

Food was excellent. Haven't been there in a while but I've been missing out. All in my group loved their food. Trendy and nice place to eat. Highly recommended.

Had to wait 40 minutes to get 2 appetizers to go! Fried green tomatoes and calamari sticks WERE NOT HOUSEMADE! Came from frozen out of a bag! Barely cooked, not even crispy! Key lime pie was tolerable. How can they charge such high prices for frozen food? The owner was made aware and all she said was she'd look into it...lol! Will never go back!

Service and cocktails were amazing. Food was phenomenal, as well.

Use to love this place. Came in from out of town and apparently they decided to close early. Uncool. If your hours are till 9pm, then you should stay open till 9pm. Again Uncool…

Have eaten lunch at the Local a few times over the last few years and their sandwiches are very tasty. However I had dinner there for the first time a couple of days ago. All I can say is wow. Especially the tomatoes on the basallmic chicken. There are so many favors that will roll across your pallet. Same goes wth the fried chicken salad. A very large salad with plenty of chicken... quality greens... chilled grilled corn... cranberries.... and roasted pecans.... with more as well. Services were stellar. The coconut fried shrimp appetizer was excellent and not small. Artichoke spinach dip was really good too. Wasn't crowded right at 5pm. Immediately seated 5. People began trickling in petty quick after 6pm. Food doesn't come out fast but good food was never meant to be quick. Certainly worth the small wait. Our table was on rollers so had to watch leaning against it. Chairs do not scoot across the floor.... youy have to pick them up to adjust your position at the table. Not the cheapest place to eat but also not the most expensive. Maybe comparable to cost of going to Outback or Olive Garden and ordering the high end plates. We will definitely be going back more since they are local and their food tastes better.

Amazing food. The Red Snapper with grilled asparagus was quite nice. While the asparagus was nothing special, the rest of the dish was truly divine if mildly spicy.

The Cajun Chicken with Andouille sausages and penne pasta was quite nice, but due to the perhaps over oiliness of the dish would make for terrible leftovers. Of course it made fir a fabulous dining experience.

While I was here the restaurant was crowded and noisy. This is not a bad thing.

Been here a bunch of times. We really want to love this place but they have never gotten our order correct (sometimes multiple times in the same trip). The food is great, if they get it right, and the atmosphere/location are spot on.

Ate lunch here once with a group of coworkers. Food was decent for the price, though nothing fancy. No issues with the service. Atmosphere was pleasant. Looking forward to coming back to try their dinner menu.
