Customer service was terrible. I knew we were in trouble shortly after we ordered. It took forever for our lattes and bagel to come out. While we were waiting, I saw two other customers receive incorrect orders. When my wife tasted her bagel, she realized they had put the wrong cream cheese on it. When I tried to return the order because it was incorrect, the staff initially didn't want to accept it because she had already taken one bite. To add insult to injury, the staff member then attempted to tell me he had already offered my wife the correct order. After this debate, they did finally give me the correct order. It certainly was not worth the hassle. We will not go back.

Their coffee is sooo much better than starbucks. You can drink this coffee and it will drop you into fourth gear real quick! Addictive. Did I mention this place has a great vibe?

Stopped in with my Dad for some coffee. I'm trying to get him into the high qual brews in the hopes that he'll step up the coffee game at home, and this seemed to definitely do the trick. We both really enjoyed some lighter-roast Ethiopian bean and avacado toast. Even my old dad remarked on how much he enjoyed the vibe-- the atmosphere is great and I thought the music was at exactly the right volume (loud enough to contribute meaningfully to the ambience, and quiet enough not to be annoying and distracting). Lovely service too. Very glad we went, would go again.

This place is awesome! Great coffee and the Latte was the best I’ve ever had. Get a scone to go with it. Just trust me, you will eat every last crumb. The decor is very relaxing and enjoyable.

Seemed overpriced. Ordered a cappuccino and got a very small cup. In their defence, it was an actual cappuccino. However, when your prices are Starbucks-ian, your portions should be too. The place looks great and very well decorated. Feels like a small European kitchen. Very cozy. This place would be great...if it were located in Austin.

We went into PAX last night to see if they had smoothies. They don’t have smoothies as of now, but we were told they are working on getting smoothies on the menu for the summer months coming up. This is a coffee and tea bar with a wine and beer selection, some soft drinks, and a nice food selection. This morning we came in for breakfast and tried the plain bagel with Rosemary Garlic cream cheese, cinnamon raisin bagel with Plain cream cheese, poppy muffin, carrot muffin, large chai latte, and raspberry lemonade (which we got all items for $20). The rosemary cream cheese was amazing! Their bagels are made in San Antonio and muffins I believe are made in town. I like that this is a local business that supports other local businesses! The chai latte was strong with great flavor of the spices, but I prefer mine strong so this was perfect. The raspberry lemonade was delicious as well. Overall our first visit was amazing.. everything we ordered was perfect and tasted fresh. I don’t know if prices have changed since some of the other reviewers have gone in, but they are under new management. A husband and wife team that makes it a priority to try to remember every face and name of their customers.

They make the best salted caramel mochas here. They didn't blink an eye when I asked for it. Try it you'll be hooked.

Excellent cheesecake. My niece loves the macchiato. I wanted a cold brew and asked for a little caramel. The girl behind the counter talked me into a drink, cold brew, caramel, vanilla and cream. I wasn't paying attention, I got a whole cup of cream. It didn't have the slightest brown tint of coffee, solid white and tasted like straight heavy whipping cream. I didn't have time to go back. So stick with the Cold Brew, don't let them upsell you. I'm sure it was a mistake and my family loves the place so I will still give them 4 stars.

PAX Coffee & Goods: A Kiss of Peace in these Tumultuous Times
The jewel of Historic Downtown Kerrville, Texas, PAX Coffee & Goods is more than just a coffee shop with loads of aesthetic appeal. It serves as a great place for the Hill Country community to gather and connect with one another live and face to face.
The shop is a dream realized by Heather, the owner and operator, who herself is an amazing story of accomplishment over seemingly insurmountable odds. Just like Heather, the baristas are friendly, knowledgeable, and are quick greet you and to assume their duty stations as soon as they hear the familiar creaking of the antique front doors. I typically receive my drink order before sitting down in my favorite spot. The coffee is always on point!
The new food menu is crafted to suit whatever your appetite may desire. From delicious pastries baked daily on-site, fresh and crisp salads paired with zesty dressings, as well as made to order artisan sandwiches grilled to cheesy perfection, there is something for every palate. My personal favorites are the almond joy cookie, the “just another salad” salad, the smoke salmon sandwich, and the 16 ounce iced americano.
This review is long overdue. I have spent a lot of time in PAX over the past two years and I have developed a strong fondness for the place and the people. It has given me a place to sit, take a deep breath, and be at peace while I take a break from the crazy world just outside it’s windows.
Finally I suggest everyone be leery of any one star reviews of PAX. I assure you their assessment is dubious at best. I encourage you to come and experience for yourself. You will not regret it!

We reached here on a cold and drizzly evening, drove 50 miles but the drive was totally worth it. We tried kervillian and bees knees and both were amazing. Their menu is full of surprises and the place has a chic vibe to it
