I come here a lot for lunch- love all the paninis, sub a side salad for the chips! Large portion. They stock fresh pastries sourced locally which are all great. Coffee is decently good but if I’m being honest I come mostly for the combination of food+a drink! Also love that they do not close until the evening! Will be great if they get the website back up and running so you can order online again.

More than happy with the location, service and freshly prepared avocado toast (I ordered two how good it was). Coffee was delicious, flavors were unique, the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Definitely coming back!

What a great little gem! Coffee was so good! The baristas were friendly and helpful. The ambiance was cool and seating was comfortable. The outdoor table option was a nice touch for a coffee spot. I had a cafe au lait (signature drip) with a splash of honey and lavender and it was perfect! Paired it up with the delicious chocolate chip cookie and it was a great duo. I recommend and will definitely come back when I’m in town!

Cute little spot tucked into a row of shops and other eateries.
Didn’t really see a menu for the food except for the chalkboard advertising general foods they serve.
I got the jalapeño bagel with roasted poblano cream cheese. It was very good but a bit heavy with the cream cheese though some people might like that. Also got one of their specialty lattes, The Nutty Professor.
Service was good. They were a bit swamped when I first arrived but handled it well, and the place ended up clearing out after a short while.
There’s a good amount of seating available inside, and they also had two small tables outside.

I was driving through downtown Kerrville and noticed this coffee shop. I thought I'd stop for a quick cup of coffee and glad I did. It was good coffee served by friendly staff.

UPDATE: JAN 2023
New wooden bar to sit at and work while you sip on Joe. It's so cute! (Added photos) Love the update. Cappuccino is perfectly made and I love that I can get it in a big mouth coffee mug instead of a to-go cup!
Coffee is smooth and delicious. Scones are my favorite here. They stay together in my hand as I break apart my bites. Some are just too dry or dense. Not these... They're just right. My son enjoys their hot cocoa and they make it no so hot just for him.
It's a cute place. Small but plenty of seats with little round tables to enjoy your coffee, your laptop, or friends. Couple of seats outside too.
Staff is super nice. There's a bathroom for customers.

We didn't try the food due to my girlfriend having a gluten allergy, but it did look good! Pro-Tip, get the coffee (the nutty professor is awesome), and head next door to sit on the patio of Rita's Taco and enjoy the full fist of a Taco and great local coffee!

Great coffee and cute shop! Unfortunately the young girl working there isn’t too enthusiastic helping older people and us with the milk. If the container is empty you don’t just point to the cart or plastic bottle behind the counter area (for employees). Not great customer service and it’s not the first time with this same employee we have this disrespectful issue.

The shop itself was very cute. The coffee was “eh”. I ordered a cold brew with a splash of coconut milk. The coffee itself tasted rather buttery. My friend’s choice, a lavender flavored coffee though i can’t recall the same of it- was very sweet and tasty. The blueberry scone he ordered, however, was more bland and doughy. It could have been an off day, so I will give PAX another shot next time I’m in town.

I've been making it a point to get a cold brew here every time I visit! Pleasant little coffee shop downtown surrounded by unique historic buildings and just a stones throw from the river. Whether a local or just passin thru I recommend stopping by Pax for a drink.
