I wished I could of gave this place a 5 star review based off the lady (she's might be the owner) who greeted us as we walked in and made us laugh. We got to pick where we wanted to sit.

I was disappointed with the server that we had. She didn't seem friendly. I was expecting that service was going to be great based off of all the other reviews on here. We almost felt that she didn't want us there. For this reason... I ate one of my biscuits with gravy and she came and took the plate away before I could finish my other biscuit. I was still eating the other half of my bacon, eggs, and grits so I'm not sure why she would take my biscuits and gravy away. I should've said something but she already walked away and we just moved here so I didn't want to start anything! Very disappointed!

The breakfast was good though. I did want to bring the rest of my family here to try other food they have on the menu. However, not sure if we would like to come back because of the server! The server had glasses if this would help the owner speak to her about her service.

Wonderful experience. The staff was super polite and I loved the home like atmosphere. Just a lot of good positive energy all around.
It's feels like a great place to go alone or a big group. Either way, this place has some of great food too. Just don't forget to make room for pie 😋🥧

Just started working in Irving, right up the street from Joe's, and decided to have a business meeting here. The host greeted me immediately and found me a comfortable place to sit while I waited for my business partner. The server was super attentive but not pushy or overbearing -- kinda perfect, actually. Got great coffee -- nothing fancy, but better than ihop! -- and the server kept us topped off. Wasn't interested in getting food, but the server briefly mentioned the BOGO special on pie slices and we couldn't resist. I had a slice of cherry pie and it was great! Atmosphere is charming in a small town cafe sort of way and was a great place to have our informal meeting. My only criticism was how bright it was inside, but it was early afternoon, and that might just be a me thing.

Friendly environment, brings back nostalgic memories coming here and seeing all the old photos on the walls. The food has always been delicious the family enjoys the grilled pork plate and Stuff French toast. Prices are affordable I'd say, many options on the menu to select from.

Excellent service!! Kept my coffee full and food was quick. Quiet atmosphere so I could converse with ease with my friend. Price was more than fair for the food ordered.

Matty was Awesome we really enjoyed the service of our waitress and Joe employees all the way to us paying are bill . Joe's Cafe is always a good choice for a meal Thanks and God Bless..

Went a few daya ago with my mom early morning went in, also been a few times before so they tell us sit any were u like so we proceed to sir and a rude fat lady not old maybe in her late 30 black hair and short just in front of us and with an attitude says "can I at least clean the table" and scuffs at us like I'm just doing what they told me so any ways that's the last time we ever go there very sad that employees will lose business for owner...... She looks miserable

So weird morning required a mental reset and some grub. I passed this place for years saying I'm gonna stop....today I did. I almost don't want to review it to keep my secret. This place is so cool. Very much an old school diner in the heart of downtown. Hasn't been remodeled in a coons age, but who cares. The food and the service are AMAZING. If lived closer, I would keep a card on file. Y'all been adopted. See for lunch when I have an Irving route again.

The food was great and the service was excellent. Home-cooked style food at its finest.

Good service. Good food. Old location but kept clean and neat. Like going here from time to time for breakfast after a long night at work.
