Verbena Coffee

I stop by this coffee shop almost every morning before work. I typically get a matcha latte. For such a simple drink it is made drastically different by the baristas. One of them makes the matcha latte so bad it is not worth the price at all. I love going to support a small business but it was so disgusting this morning that it made me want to buy matcha online and make matcha lattes at home. I really hate to give such a bad review due to one barista but the latte literally gave me a bad taste in my mouth.

Amazing place! I’ve been here a few times and every time it is great! The barista Miranda is super nice and always makes my drink perfectly!! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for their perfect coffee shop!

Love the lattes here and the vibe of the shop. But I seriously hate the paper straws yall use. Can you buy the eco straws that are compostable plant based plastic instead? I don’t want to drink and taste paper, with my plastic cup anyway.

Edited to add that they did in fact change to better straws!

Love this place! I come here to study and just to read when I can. Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because I love a dirty chai! I guess it’s so good that they often run out.

I absolutely love this place! Welcoming environment and GREAT COFFEE! For all my Real Coffee Drinkers this is Definitely the spot to be. Moving here from California I needed to find a coffee shop. I’ve tried a few and I LOVE Verbena Coffee the Most!

Great staff and great coffee. The staff know what they are doing and very knowledgable with the products. I always get the Mocha and it come out perfect every time. Definitely one of the best placed to grab a cup of coffee in Houston.

Top notch lattes made by experienced baristas. They use locally sourced ingredients such as Milk King & Cleo Roasting Co. We needed a coffee shop of this caliber on this side of town. Not to mention, customer service is excellent!

Excellent coffee in a comfortable environment. Our new favorite neighborhood coffee shop. The make excellent coffee with care and pride. They offer some pastries and a nice selection of teas as well.
