Stopped by for breakfast on Sunday and got coffee and a blueberry danish. Staffers were very friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was pleasant, with interesting original artwork on the walls. Drip coffee and ice latte were very good. Good little cafe!

Nice, quiet coffee shop with great atmosphere and excellent service. The cafe au lait I had was one of the best in recent memory. Wonderful chill experience on the Friday before Memorial Day Weekend!!

Great coffee. Happy and genuine service. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Each drink is made with care and tastes like it. Get yours in a ceramic mug, grab a comfy seat and stay for a bit. We all could use a little relax in our lives. Enjoy the rotating artist gallery wall. Take in the plant life and enjoyable smells. People watch the comings and goings of the local Verbena enthusiast. Your day will be a little bit brighter and a little bit less stressed after this. You're welcome. (Thank you, Verbena)

Also, The Root Haus has added a nice little setup of quality house plants to purchase inside verbena. Take a little bit of that Verbena charm home to enjoy!

Met Jake the manager today on my first visit here. Enjoyed the cortado and the espresso that is a mix of Columbian and Ethiopian. In house Roasted coffee.

We happened upon Verbena Coffee on a recent trip to Houston and were immediately drawn in by the soothing ambience. Their seasonal honey lavender latte and their matcha were both perfect.

This little place seemed cool at first, they had a Cortado on the menu. Good start. I also got a vanilla iced latte. Good so far, then I go to ask for whip cream for a Pupaccino for my little pup and the cashier proceeds to tell me very annoyed that they don't do Pupaccino's. I offered to pay for some whip cream. So get this y'all, apparently they are so bougie they don't do whip cream at this place because it's beneath them. Hmmm, they had hot chocolate on the menu but no whip cream, doesn't make sense. I wonder if they know they can make they're own whip cream? Love coffee, some what of a purist, but come on, don't get on a high horse about whip cream, that's just a little too much for me.

A beautiful coffee shop, so clean and modern. A great place to meet up with friends or get some work/ studying done over a cup of coffee which is fantastic. They also have a good tea selection. It’s truly the perfect neighborhood coffee shop.

Verbana is an amazing place not only for coffee but also for chilling and freshing your mind. The idea behind the scene is amazing for creating a platform for artist to sell their arts there. Its supper creational spot

Decided to check out this coffee shop because I had zero energy today and I needed some caffeine in my body.

Ordered their iced soy matcha latte with a splash of vanilla (less ice). It is really good because it really boosted my energy. But it also left me with a bad stomachache. I'm not sure what it is...

They just opened up in October and the lady said they will be soon opening for dining in.

Definitely a cute spot to catch up with friends or study. Bathrooms are clean. Plenty of parking.

EDIT: They are good people, owner contacted me directly and cared about what I had to say. I will be going back!

It's a good place in general, but the ladies working there wouldn't stop talking to each other super loud. It doesn't help if you have to focus on studying. Good coffee though.
