The bread is way better than I would have expected. From the baked goods to the panini A+. The siphon isn't worth the money to me. I'll stick with a cold brew for my caffeine needs. Nice quiet and secluded back patio. Dog friendly patio. Didn't mind me bringing dog inside to order, so probably a blind eye for that as well. Great decor inside and a convenient location with parking lot and street parking bb

Great spot in the world. Loved the sevice, funky atmosphere and their menu was diverse and full of surprises. Highly recommended!

Coffees are good, but it’s not easy to get a seat, a lot of people are staying there with their computer for a very long time.
The service is quite slow, we got our food way before our drinks.
It’s very difficult to hear when they are calling names. The music is a bit loud inside. They call once and then disappear, so you might take someone else’s drink by accident.

Visiting from Kansas City and not familiar with the Houston area, we decided to try this local coffee shop since my wife and I need our daily dose of coffee. Siphon was right down the street from the Airbnb we were staying at so we walked about 10 minutes over to it. Immediately the vibe was chill and relaxing. Mostly people just enjoying their beverages and focused in their computers. We ordered the most basic thing you can order to play it safe just in case we were to be disappointed, an iced vanilla latte. Well, we weren’t disappointed, because that was top 3 of the best lattes I’ve had, and I like to believe I have had quite a few more than your average person. We were very pleased with the drinks and the environment, we decided to go back every morning during our trip. Would highly recommend Siphon if you’re close by!

Nice atmosphere to read or work with your computer. Honey bee coffee was good but just improve the honey. Cappuccino was great. Price are normal. Clean place. We will come back for.

Coffee beans are excellent quality (locally-roasted Amaya, same you get at Catalina). However, something happens in the delivery of it, and it renders a relatively weak coffee. Ordered flat whites, they were served in pretty large mugs - maybe they put more milk than usual? One of the baristas (who took our order and called our food) was super nice and helpful, but the one who was making the drinks was flat out rude and unfriendly. She either needs to find another job or check her attitude at the door like the rest of us mortals (particularly in customer service). The spinach and mushroom quiche is delicious, but it was hot on the edges, and cold in the middle. Don't even get me started on more than $5 for a tiny (but good) empanada. Gets pretty busy (which is the case anywhere), but unlike other places, it's constantly busy, so keep in mind if you expect to drink your coffee there or even work there. Wifi is good, and doesn't require a password. Maybe next time I'll try their brewed/pour overs, as maybe that lets the beans shine as they should.

i came here earlier today. the coffee is decent. the cashier who took my order today with her hair up is really nice, but the girl who called out my name to when my order was ready was passive aggressive. i ordered one iced coffee & another was hot. both of them arrived iced, despite informing the cashier twice that i wanted one hot & cold, no biggie. but when i told the girl with the brown hair up to her shoulders that one was hot, she had a passive aggressive attitude towards me, then said, “i guess i have to remake it.” it also took really long for my coffee to arrive. i regally hope the manager addresses her behavior but other than the wait & her attitude, i recommend it!

Baristas are entitled.
I went during a time when not that many people were there and ordered a drink. I checked with a male barista after waiting the first 15 minutes and he was passive aggressive. It took over 30 minutes to get my drink and they never called my name when it was ready. Good drink so not 1 star, but this was really awful service.

Great coffee and tea selection. Love this place and come here often. There's plenty of seating for working and the outdoor seating is great for socializing. The staff is great here.

Great place to study/read and hangout with friends. I love that they’re open late because it’s so hard to find coffee shops open past 6. Make sure to check if there’s a trivia night before you go though! We didn’t know there was one tonight and while we enjoyed it, I’m sure it was bothersome to people trying to actually get work done. The coffee wasn’t that great in my opinion, I went with a few friends and none of us particularly cared for our drinks. We got the specialty ones though so maybe the basic drinks are better? Will definitely give it another try and be back at least for a trivia night!
