I really like the coffee here and there is plenty space to sit, however the music at this coffee shop is uncharacteristically loud! I have now tried this place on three different occasions and each time the ambient music level is akin to a party. I come here to work remotely, take meetings and be productive- which did not work for me here. Otherwise a great place to meet friends and to do casual work! I will be trying other quieter coffee shops when remote working.

The coffee is great but it took over 25 mins on a Sunday morning for me to receive my order. There seemed to be plenty of staff in the kitchen, as well as two baristas working the espresso line. Also, the man at the check out counter could not tell me what was in the honey bee latte, nor could he tell me where the new menus were located.
Upon being notified my order was ready, instead of a rose cardamom latte, I received it iced. But because it took 25 minutes to already receive my incorrect order, I just told the staff not to worry about it as I am on a time crunch.
Really sad because I wanted to start my day off with amazing coffee and that didn’t happen.

Went to pick up groceries at HEB off Alabama at 7:30 am. Decided to give this place a try! My first time here. I'm impressed. I purchased a breakfast sandwich and a chai latte 😋. Yummy! Customer Service was AWESOME from the cashier to the barista.

Great atmosphere and good coffee. It can get a little crowded in here, but still plenty of outlets to charge your phone or computer.

This is such a quaint place! The banana bread is so good and moist! The breakfast tacos are delicious!

Love the coffee, food, and atmosphere here. Located near a lot of Montrose spots and the museum district, so it's a great place to grab coffee and a bite before a day in the city. One caveat: it gets slammed on weekends.

Service and setting were very good. Unfortunately, the food was not. Americano coffee was completely tasteless and the -very- pricey chocolat brownie I ordered was nothing special. Also, it was incomplet (I guess a bit felt when they served it). So, I didn't enjoyed.

I’ve been coming here for almost two years and I find it very charming. They have good food and great espresso. My review is based on their Toast takeout system: when you receive your order receipt, it tells you to let the barista know you’re there so they can make your drink. The barista was talking to another worker and I felt rude interrupting to be honest. I saw my sandwich had already been made; I was not greeted or acknowledged by anyone working this morning. All in all, I find it inefficient to make an iced americano and simultaneously let a $10 hot sandwich “die in the window.”

I used to come here all the time when I was a teenager. When I moved back to Houston a few months ago after 5+ years away, I was excited to return. The first time I returned, the service at the counter was not very good and my ham and swiss croissant was cold in the middle. I have come back a few times since, hoping that they were just having an off day the first time. Now that I’ve visited a few more times, I can confirm that this place has really gone downhill. The prices have gone up while the quality of the drinks have gone down. Last time I went, I ordered an undertow which was $4 and some change on the menu but ended up being $6 once I asked for oatmilk and caramel syrup. I thought that was strange because one would think the syrup and milk would be included in the price of the undertow. Anyway, I could tell the barista didn’t even know how to make one properly. What was supposed to be a layered drink turned in to a lukewarm cup of espresso and oatmilk. The food tasted good but it was cold in the middle as usual.
Other than that, the staff in general is not very friendly or welcoming. More often than not, the employee taking my order makes it seem like I’m such a bother for coming in to order something. And I can recall one occasion where I asked a barista to remake my latte because I could barely taste the caramel syrup. She remade it but clearly had a bad attitude about it. I tried the latte she remade and it tasted the same as the first. I didn’t ask her to make a third one because she did not seem to care if I enjoyed my drink or not. It’s sad to see a business that I used to go to every weekend decline in this way. I’m not sure if they’re under new management or what but the service has really declined.
