Cavo Coffee

Nice little place to chill, read, and do laptop work. Coffee was good and they had nice talkative baristas serving up your drinks. Only gave three stars because this has to be one of the most uncomfortable seating out of the many coffee shops in the area making it uninviting. Parking is free but tight tight and not far around the corner of the building.

I really like the sophisticated rustic atmosphere here, with the leather, wood, and sheep skin furniture. The coffee is strong and well brewed, while the scone I had was pretty sweet with a strong note of earl grey tea. The staff was friendly and had a positive attitude.

My one complaint would be parking. They have a small lot and it seems to be in conjunction with some apartments or offices above, so there wasn't really any parking available except for 3 10 minutes max spots by the door. I ended up parking at the Einstein Bros lot and walked over, but I didn't feel good about it haha

I am a coffee roaster and my test of a truly great coffee shop is their plain espresso without anything added. Their espresso is by far the tastiest espresso I have ever had in any coffee shop, including my own. The lowest acidity with almost no bitter after taste. I’m impressed.
And the food is great, and the atmosphere is gorgeous and peaceful!

I would give this place 5 stars on the croissants alone but the coffee is great too. Flaky soft European butter with a touch of wood smoke. A true head and shoulders above the standard fair.

i came in a few days ago during a bit of a rush; i arrived at the same time as the two small groups in line ahead of me. after the the 1st group in line placed their order, group 2 moved forward to place their order. the first woman in group 2 to approach was extremely rude to the point of shouting about the wait time and continued to complain about it for the entire exchange- i'm writing in to commend Antwan on how gracefully they handled what can only be described as a complete bully. this was my first time there and I will definitely be back.

I’ve been coming to Cavo in the weekends for several years to get that extra work done. It’s a great place to study / work / chill, but their wifi has been unstable in the last few months and when I walked up to them I was simply told ‘I am the first person to bring up this issue’ and they didn’t take further actions. It’s not just my phone or laptop, and I had at least 4-5 other people that I brought here complaining the same issue with the wifi. Sometimes, it will connect to the google but it won’t navigate to the pages that I click from google. Nowadays, every time Iook up the available wifis, I see at least three other personal hotspots. Considering this place is always populated with good amount of people doing stuff on their laptop, I think their wifi issue should be solved soon.
