Ordered a caramel mocha and nutella cookie for about $9.00. Overall coffee was sweet and creamy. Cookie was okay. It was a bit drier and crumbier than I would have liked (as opposed to soft and gooey) but thats more of personal preference. Parking was not too bad as I was able to get a spot on the side, but there is also some parking across the street. The overall interior is clean and great environment for studying with adequate wifi and plenty of tables!

From my personal experience, if I go to a coffee shop and being charged $5 for latte, they usually would fill up with milk if asked for light ice.
I’m disappointed with today’s service…
I really like their beans so I purchased coffee beans from Cleo before but this is my first time buying coffee from Cavo, probably my last time..

Nice atmosphere. Easy parking along the side of the building. No outdoor seating. Drinks are decent with some interesting seasonal specials such as a Tennessee latte. A bit on the pricey side. The food options are ok but would be nice to have 2-3 vegan & gluten free options which are clearly denoted. Overall like the concept but looking forward to see how it evolves.

Nice, clean coffee shop near West U and Upper Kirby. I stopped here to do some work after helping with an event at Rice.
The coffee shop is right on Bissonnett with a small parking lot attached, but it wasn’t an issue on the Thursday afternoon I visited. The inside is pretty with lots of plants as decorations, but on the small-medium size range of shops. There’s a large barstool type table on the right with ~4 booths on the right and 3-4 tables on the left with another smaller barstool table against the wall. I think I saw 2-3 places to plug in so maybe come charged if you’re planning to work.
I had my usual plain Iced Vanilla Latte and it was good. A nice refresher during this summer heat. The workers were friendly and the ambiance was nice and chill.

this was my first time here. I ordered a flat white with one of their seasonal syrups along with their avo-cavo toast and everything came out pretty fast considering that it was fairly busy today. both the flat white and toast were amazing and the staff are very sweet and accommodating. also, whoever picks the music here has great taste. the only thing I would look out for is the wifi. my devices were connecting, but for some reason i wasn't able to access the internet. usually things like this are out of the staffs control so I dont think that should affect my rating of this place, but I wanted to include it in this review in hopes that the managerial staff might see it and address it hopefully. other than that, ive enjoyed my meal here. I got a lot of studying in. thanks for the good food and atmosphere!

I tried the chai latte and the red velvet underground latte (which is apparently seasonal). The chai latte was okay, but I cannot stop thinking about the red velvet underground drink!!! I have to go back for it. The place was pretty busy, but the service was still excellent.

Cafe for the young laptop crowd, likely Rice students. Very tasty matcha 🍵 latte. The space is modern and inviting and the vibe is definitely on the cool 😎 side! I like it! … the wifi however was not cooperating!

Holy cow. This place is heaven on earth. Ive been to many many coffee shops in Houston and this place is one of the best if not the best. Highly highly highly recommend.

I've been to a lot of coffee shops in the Houston area (~ 27 and counting) and always get some kind of latte, usually a caramel one made with oat milk. Cavo is my go-to spot for an oat milk caramel latte, hot or iced. They have the best lattes in town and I stand by that statement. My favorite coffee shop in the Houston area.

We gave a good tip and waited 30 minutes for 3 coffees and 1 croissant that wasn't even heated up like we asked. We didn't get our coffees until we stood up and told them we have been waiting so long and they were so rude. Plus people that came after us were served before us. Terrible experience. Never leave a good tip before getting served.
