Hot chocolate was watery. Even when i mentioned it, the second one i got was still the same.
Ambiente is great! Music is relaxing.

However the prices are a bit over the top. Over 8,50 for a canned beer is too steep. The service is not nice, if you don't leave a tip to the cashier.

I absolutely love it here. I get work done, read books, and enjoy some amazing matcha!! The energy here is always ✨chef’s kiss✨. The staff is also incredibly kind and diligent to create a space of cleanliness. Much appreciated.

Agora is a charming coffee shop that is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic coffee experience. From the moment you step into the cozy and welcoming atmosphere, you can tell that this place is a cut above the rest.

The coffee is exceptional, with a range of delicious blends to choose from, all expertly prepared by the talented baristas. The coffee beans are sourced from top-quality producers, and the care that goes into the brewing process is evident in every sip. Whether you prefer a classic espresso or a creamy latte, you'll find it here, and it's sure to be one of the best cups of coffee you've ever had.

Beyond the coffee, Agora also offers a wide range of other beverages, including tea, hot chocolate, and refreshing juices. The food menu is equally impressive, with a range of fresh and healthy options, including sandwiches, salads, and pastries.

What really sets Agora apart, however, is the friendly and attentive service. The staff is knowledgeable, approachable, and always happy to offer recommendations or answer any questions. The ambiance of the coffee shop is also a standout feature, with comfortable seating, plenty of natural light, and a laid-back vibe that encourages you to linger and enjoy your coffee.

Overall, Agora is a gem of a coffee shop that is definitely worth a visit. With exceptional coffee, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's no wonder this place has become a favorite among locals and tourists alike. Xavi is a gem always there.

I love this coffee shop so much. Their coffee is really good and everyone in Houston seems to hang out here. It does get kind of busy because it’s in Montrose and it’s one of the most known places in the middle. I do like the outside area when the weather permits. I’m grateful they don’t allow dogs inside. As always much love, Houston.

Literally the best place to work ever. I wish they had a coffee shop like this in every city. From the beautiful furniture and setting to the amazing drinks and snacks to the many tables and free wifi and late hours..... I could go on. Laptop friendly too! You can also come for non work reasons it's just so cozy and wonderful. It is often busy I will say, so there aren't always tables or seats especially near outlets, so keep that in mind and be flexible. Parking is usually kind of tough too, but this place is the best-keep it open!

Came to get a latte and the staff were so incredibly rude. I used to go to agora faithfully when I was in college and thought I’d stop by to support the business and for a little dose of nostalgia. My whole experience was very distasteful and uncomfortable to where I probably will never return. The two girls that were working tonight had horrible attitudes and got upset when they got my order wrong, they insisted that I ordered a “white chocolate” not a “white mocha”.. i reorder and payed for another drink and was still met with attitude. I was never greeted, they never said thank you or said any other words than telling me that I said something I didn’t. They were very friendly with other customers which made the situation a bit more awkward. I didn’t feel welcomed or valued as a customer.

One of the best Houston has to offer in terms of coffee shops. It used to have a better late night scene, but I still love coming here for the drinks and the vibe. Can’t go wrong.

Great vibe, nice spot to grab get some work done or socialize. Music is nice. Negatives: parking can be tough, also nothing too special about their coffee

Favorite coffee spot in the Houston area. Great coffee, free wifi, plenty of seating (but can get packed,) fresh baked goods like pistachio baklavas, assortment of sweets, diverse bottle beers, wine, and open til 2am. If you're looking for a place to sit alone and read/do work or just chat with friends, this is the place!

This is such a nice place. I met my husband here and had our first few dates here. This is a nice quiet place when it's not very busy. The coffee is really really good. Absolutely worth the extra money.
