Ascension Coffee - Design District

I can’t say enough about this place! I work fairly close so I’m here nearly everyday. The people who work here are so kind and I feel so welcomed every time I walk through the door. The front patio and interior look like something right out a Pinterest board. Too cute! The drinks and food are also phenomenal!

Haven't had a good coffee in ages! This place was delicious. The owner is an Aussie who knows his coffee. Come here for strong bold flavors.

First time ordering from here and the pictures make it look great well I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich it had 3 thinly sliced pieces of ham cheese melted to the bread and no onions or jelly I asked for no jelly the bread was so greasy that I literally squeezed oil out of it and onto my plate I could only eat half the bread because of the amount of grease coming from it and all I could taste was the grease because I lost half my cheese because I took half the bread away I also ordered tomato soup it should be called pepper soup because all I could taste was pepper. I am sad I really had high hopes for the food because of the way it looked trust when I say false advet

I love Ascension Coffee and all the goodies they offer. Fantastic knowledgeable service. This location has a good set of people, they are wonderful, sweet and always working hard! This is easily my favorite location. The staff is really what has me coming back. ♥️

Interesting food selections. Tried a few new things. The doki was very new for me. Carafe of mimosas was a good value.

I wish I had taken a picture. The cold brew is fantastic - strong coffee, but very little acid. The espresso shots are a perfect balance and you get the notes of chocolate and cherry that are expected with a perfectly pulled shot of espresso!

Update:. Finally took a picture. The coffee is the Doki Doki, which is a nitro infused cold brew. One of my favorites! Also of my lunch, the salmon BLT which is a delicious and light meal. Still highly recommended!

Enjoyed my visit to this coffee shop. Holiday coffee flights, brekkies, burger & Yukon sweet potato hash were delicious!

Great coffee and friendly service. I love the horchata too.

Parking is tough to find, but worth the hassle.

A great place for hipsters and millennials to enjoy fancy coffee and food. I'm neither, but I liked it also. We had the tres leches cake and chocolate cinnamon cake. Both were delicious! Also had chai tea and drinkable chocolate, a crafted hot chocolate. Really nice place and great atmosphere.
