Nice little coffee spot on Oak Lawn. Friendly staff. Their different roasts are great, although the medium is my favorite.

Great food, coffee and service! The process of getting seated is a little confusing but that’s my only complaint :)

The coffee is perhaps some of the best in the area. The croissant and egg sand-which croissant are better than good too. However you have to order ahead or not be in a rush. I’ve order online once, drove over 15 mins and still waited 20 for my two drinks and one croissant. I’ve came in and ordered two drinks and two bagels at the front and I’ve had to wait 30 mins. I come now only when I have plenty of time or else just run over to get coffee elsewhere.

I love this coffee shop however something NEEDS to be done about the parking situation. The valet already uses almost the entire parking lot behind the apartment complex which is about 50-60 spots then they still use more than half of the already tiny parking lot right by the two businesses. I think it’s ridiculous. Half of the time I go here I just run in to pick up a coffee or an online order I’m not going to have valet park my car for just 5-10 minutes. To have valet park your car right next to the business is a ridiculous concept in general.

Reasonably priced AND a flavor fest! I got the chia seed pudding and it was glorious!!! So many textures and so much flavor. Each bite was like a mini flavor explosion! I’ll definitely be back on my next Dallas trip!

Atmosphere is hip and slightly industrial. Being in the design district, the vibe was artsy. I ordered at chai tea latte, and it wasn't my favorite, but it was good on a chilly day. A tad too spicy. Didn't get a chance to eat food here, but the drinks were great. Cozy place to get work done and have a meeting our get-together.

We were in Dallas, escaping the hurricane and flooding in Houston and after a few days we were exhausted and stressed. Wanted a really good coffee shop experience. Went with my wife, 7 week old son, 8 year old daughter and her friend.
Beautiful place! Great design, spacious and clean. I was shocked at how friendly and efficient staff was. Total professionals. Coffee shops are generally not ideal places for kids but the staff @ Ascension welcomed us and made it a great visit. The moment we walked in they made eye contact, smiled and gave us a table. I like the table service a lot. Incredible coffee, food, service and atmosphere. I can't think of a better coffeeshop experience.

Nice and big area. Food was ok. I had the ham and jam sandwich. I didn't like the jam added, it had an odd taste to me. If you like coffee then it's a good place. Didn't have a pleasant experience with the Mgr. I will not return. $$

Just had the most disgusting old fashioned I’ve ever had in my life. It was completely dark, and tasted very strange. I’m not sure what was in it but feel sick thinking about it

Their breakfast and coffee are great but the service quality is almost below average.
