Wow! So I am always apprehensive when visiting a place for the second time after such an awesome first visit. So many places just never seem to make it back to the expectation set by that first "meeting." This place is far and away the exception to that rule. My visit this evening was outstanding!

I had the pork tenderloin, marinated in a wonderful spiced marinade, with a Greek tzatziki sauce, grilled purple onion with a to-die-for seasoning, a cucumber salad that far surpassed my initial thoughts of what it might be, all beautifully accompanied with a very smoothe, Argentinean Malbec.

I started with homemade sourdough bread, if you visit here, get it, it's worth it and tastes awesome the next morning toated with eggs! I finished with house-made truffles in dark chocolate and a wonderful ruby port.

What really capped it off was a decision to move into the wine bar and treat myself to one additional pour of Malbec, ultimately finishing with an Italian affogato (vanilla Gelato overpoured with a double espresso). Great atmosphere, friendly people and an enjoyable time.

Shout out and props to both Jared and Halle, who kept things flowing and glasses full. Thanks guys, yall did an outstanding job. This is going to turn into a regular visit fior me; I can tell. Keep up the great work!

Worst dining experience ever ! Waited for over a hour for our dinner, ended up walking out with no food, after numerous excuses as to where our order was. The waiter laughed when asked as to what was taking so long !! In response to the owner, we were there on Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, our waiter was a very young man.

Great prime rib sourdough sandwich. Good coffee, relaxed atmosphere, clean, & worth eating here! Great food Turtle Restaurant!

Great place, cannot recommend it enough! We had the schnitzel and fig and poblano curry chicken, both were delicious. Looking forward to our next trip!

Had dinner here last night with my husband and 2 daughters. 1st off ignore all the 1 star reviews. The place has the best steak i have ever had. Even compared to steaks ive had in downtown Houston fine dining. Quality Quality Quality! You cant put a price on it! The prices in my opinion are no more than going to any steak house for dinner. My 10 year old was fighting me for the thai meatballs; delicious! I was fighting my husband for his steak. The fried pimento cheese and the jam; delicious! Our waitress was amazing as well! Had gelato after dinner and the kids loved it! Great wine options!

Very unimpressed. Our waiter/bartender was very nice and seemed to keep up with us fairly well. However we were there for two hours waiting for a pizza and two burgers. Even on a “slow food” scale this is really unacceptable. But the time frame was the least of our issues once we received our food. The “Spanish Chorizo” pizza was lacking in taste and chorizo. It was honestly a pizza topped with summer sausage and tasteless cheese. A Walmart lunchable would honestly be better. The Lindsey Burger was supposed to have everything besides mustard, pickles and onions. It arrived plain and dry. Over all we spent 2 hours and $15 per meal to leave hungry but very hydrated. Honestly, We expected much more.

Had a party of 13 for a team dinner here. It was not a good experience.
To be fair it does say "slow" on the sign and it is named The Turtle, didn't realize they were being literal.
*The restaurant was out of several food items and beverages but still let us order them. It's okay to be out of certain items but you need to know that.
*Everything took a long time. Food, drinks, general service etc...the staff didn't seem to care.
*Appetizers had cold centers.
*Out of our entire party only 1 person enjoyed the main dishes. From the pasta to the steak it was terrible.
*We would have returned the food to the kitchen but we had already so long.
