Sovereign Coffee

Love this place! Came for the first time and was so impressed with the staff and drinks I went back later that day. Kenny the owner was super nice and helpful. He knows his coffee very well which makes the experience so much better. He answers any and all questions and will even help you choose a drink if you’re new! Really recommend Sovereign!

If you’re visiting, this is a great coffee place to stop by. Absolutely love the iced agave latte. Baristas are super nice and helpful too! Plus the owner and baristas are committed to studying coffee to give us the best flavor. They gave us new flavors every season too!

Very, very good coffee. These folks know what they're doing. Service is excellent. The space is a little too snug to be comfortable, but there are plenty of outlets for getting work done.

Do yourself a favor and skip the green topless mermaid in town (try something new) & head straight here.
A friend of mine had been ranting & raving about this
place claiming they had the best coffee in town. Albeit,
personally haven't had the chance to coffee hop in
Brownsville but damnnnn this coffee has left me craving and wanting more.

Over the weekend I was in town I frequented the drive thru location twice & had the Agave Latte which was recommended for first timers. Very smooth in taste, not bitter, the agave has a perfect honey-like tinge.. all in all, a dreamy coffee option. Had both their hot and iced & both options were remarkable.

Only reason I held back on a 5 star rating was due to the drive-thru set up. As you drive in, it's directly on your right hand side, you'll have to bust a U to position your vehicle correctly. During high trafficked times I can see this as a real bummer. Do not let this deter you. "Nothing worth having comes easy" so they say.

I'm visiting the Valley for a few days and Sovereign was one of the places recommended to me. This was my first stop of the trip and it did not disappoint. Their agave latte was so good that I bought a second one to go. Ryan was extremely helpful and his passion for coffee was evident. Coming back is a must-do the next time I'm in town.

This place is awesome! I’m not best picking teas. Or coffees so I asked what I should get. He help me pick what I wanted.

I enjoy coming to study here. I always feel welcomed and the best part is the their amazing coffee. The coffee prices are affordable and the coffee is high quality.

Wow!! Delicious lavender latte with oat milk and my daughter loves the lavender lemonade tea. These guys are so welcoming, hip and know how to serve up amazing drinks! So glad I found Sovereign Coffee. I am a client for life!! See you guys again soon 💞

This coffee shop makes some of the best drinks in the RGV. Their house made syrups in the sovereign spice and honey lattes are delicious. I highly recommend stopping in for your daily coffee fix.
