Blessing Hotel Coffee Shop

Some of the best down home cooking I've had. Just walk in, load up a plate, and sit down. All you can eat. Pay ten bucks and walk out. Great place!

I was pretty stoked to stop and get breakfast. We made sure they were open (it’s Easter Sunday) but we were traveling home. Anyways they said yes they were open. We sat down, no one asked about drinks. Suddenly there was a loud back in forth in the kitchen. I heard “Don’t they know they should be in church and not here”..... I was in disbelief. This older lady walked out and just started at us and walked back in the kitchen. At that point we decided to leave. Just really disappointed at how we were treated and the lack of service. One last thing, to whoever said we should be church, the later service we were going to was a good one, oh and God doesn’t judge us the way you did this morning.

This coffee shop is inside a beautiful old hotel. There's a buffet with the kind of food my mom used to make. I feel like I'm back home. Delicious. Definitely worth the trip!

The BEST OF THE BEST home cooked Everything. Great beautiful place to enjoy or any time! This is a MUST VISIT PLACE!! Then you will find any reason to go again and again

Its a pretty cool place. I had no idea it was even there. Another person took me. It must be an historic place and the interior and the old stoves inside are very cool to me. Very friendly folks.

Great place so much old world charm

What a place!!! We showed up early to eat breakfast, everyone we talked to said if you are in the area it's a must see place. Well we were so we went after a weekend of shopping in Palacios. Being from the Houston area I am not used to places not taking credit cards lol. So when we went to pay it was a shock to find this out. I asked where the nearest ATM was. The waitress told me and she told us to just take our time and bring the money back when we could it would not be a problem. Another customer overheard what was going on and right then payed for our breakfast and would not take no for an answer. We really did find a blessing in Blessing Texas. We will be back real soon.

Only takes cash...had to leave my wife hostage while I went to the corner gas station to retrieve cash from the ATM machine. Service was not good they were not friendly at all. Food was OK. We did not see the blessing in Blessing. We will not recommend and will definitely not be back.

Saw the food and decided not to eat here after driving all the way from Richmond to see the hotel and eat here. They offered a Turkey dinner lunch and it didn't look very appealing. We were very disappointed. (aprox a year ago)
