Crazy good home style cooking! You can't go wrong stopping here for lunch! Wish I could fit it into my travels more often! Highly recommend!

We had lunch on Sunday August 21 - we had been told how good it was and this was our first time coming. We were so disappointed! The fried chicken was so dry and the roast was the same. The only thing good was the turkey and dressing. Our thought was that this must have been food leftover from Saturday except for the turkey which they advertised was served on Sundays. You could tell that the chicken had been put in the oven to reheat and there were burn marks on the bottom from the pan. Selection of vegetables was nice and tea and desert came with the meal. Price was $15 which would have been a good deal if the food had been good. Had homemade rolls and cornbread but I hate to say we found weevils in our rolls. Sad to say that we will not be back.

Breakfast was amazing. Don't get it like you had when you were a kid anywhere else but here

Love, love, ❤️ this place. Best homestyle food in Texas!!!

Excellent. Everything was made from scratch, even the huge biscuits. We had fried pork chops, homemade mash potatoes, green beans, peach cobbler, salad and tea.

Always always love dining here. Food is reasonable priced and there is wide selection of home cooked food and you cant beat the atmosphere. We highly recommend eating here. We have for years.

Homestyle we went right at lunch, so there were many dishes almost gone.

Miss Helen has the best food around and the best service with a smile.

Great food and coffee. Had breakfast everyday for the week we stayed at the hotel. The best pancakes, omelette’s and scrambled eggs with sausage for sure. Lunch was a layout to behold. Twice we were around for lunch and always 3 main entrees featured daily plus 3 hot vegetables salad bar bread and biscuits, self serve sweet tee and coffee. The kitchen staff is like family and Miss Helen is the most amazing of ladies. Make sure you get an autographed cookbook from her!! It’s priceless. And neat post cards and note cards at the cafe. They are of the hotel &cafe. If your passing through Blessing it’s the best eating in the area any local or work crew from there will verify that. No one leaves hungry or disappointed.
