Great home cooking and friendly staff. They only accept cash. You need to be aware of that , but all you can eat of great home cooking. 5 stars !

Food was exactly what you picture as the classic southern comfort food. It hit all the right notes of that true home-cooked meal that will surely lift your spirits. The Hotel was like a step back in time where the local history is preserved in its own element. The staff were friendly and kind. I am deducting a star because of the pungent smell that overlook us when we entered the dining area. My husband said that it was cleaning chemicals but it smelled like a mixture of natural gas and cleaning supplies. It almost ruined my appetite.

It's cute place to visit. Very nostalgic and very early 1900's. The owner, who appears to be in her 80s still works as a cashier over seeing her patrons. 2 main dishes with plenty of sides, bread, dessert and a drink!

I just ate here today. I haven't eaten here in forever, and I'll say it's still the same amazing Southern home cooked food you'd love. Fried chicken, ham, Turkey, potatoes, southern green beans, squash, cabbage, and much more. Plus dessert, which was Peach Cobbler, was perfect. Took me back to Grandma's house and cooking.

This place is awesome. Helen the owner is a delight. You just walk in grab a plate and eat all you want. Good, down home style comfort food. The fried chicken is my favorite, along with the homemade yeast rolls.

Of course not the same because of Covid and social distancing but we always love this place and will come back again when we can. The food is the same...down home country food that sticks to your ribs. But best if all are the memories we share when we're here.

Be advised: cash only $10 a head
This is REAL down home cooking. Buffet style, $10 for everything. This food is fantastic, and the home made rolls will have you leaving with one in hand. Fried catfish is perfectly cooked and rich with flavor. Tamales are pretty good, and the collard greens are great. This is the gold standard for the dining out southern home cooking experience.
This place is located INSIDE the Hotel Blessing in the rear.
