Alberto's Crystal Cafe

We stopped on our way through Becasue no other restaurant was open on Sunday and we wanted Mexican food. We know going to new places is a hit or miss. Well this was for sure a miss. The service was slow, the salsa was watery and runny, there is no queso served with chips unless your order on the side, it took them forever to even get our drinks, took them a long time to get our order and even longer to get our food. The food tasted very gross. I can’t even explain the taste. This is by far the worse Mexican food I have had in a long time. I would NOT recommend this place. I hate leaving bad reviews but I also would hate tourists to stop and waste their time and their money like we did.

Had the fajitas for 2 and got maybe 6 pieces of meat and quarter cup of fried crisp onion. Half a cup each of beans and rice. 2 tortillas... in the past my wife and I couldn't finish the portions.

The waiter didn't know what a margarita "on the rocks" was...

Nothing was Bad.. but nothing makes me want to return quickly either.

Food was so good!! It's a pretty small place, but the food is worth it. Salsa tasted good, just a little generic. Service was a little slow because they were super busy. Hardly an empty seat in the house. All in all, 4 outta 5.

The food in the pictures above are displayed way better than the quality of food that we just received, we got the taco plate platter the rice was dried out burnt and shriveled the taco shells were way over cooked and oily. The only good thing that we had was the guacamole and the iced tea. The only real good thing going forfor this establishment was the employees were very nice and polite

It was our 1st time here and didn't know if we needed to be seated or we sit ourselves. No one would help us. Finally we got a seat a gentlemen came over and took our drink orders. Our server came and was not in the best mood. She took our order and walked off. My husband needed another drink and she ignored him. She brought us our plates and didn't even warn us the plates were extremely hot!! My husband burn his hand and arm by him slightly touching it. Our food was ok but don't think I would return.

Excellent 4.7 stars tex-mex place to eat. Kid friendly! Great queso and chicken fajitas!!

Loved It. Great Waitress. Great Food. They sell mixed drinks. Use a glass door reach in refrigerator as a liquor cabinet. 6 bottles of Crown Royal on the bottom shelf. Recommend it... really good!

So great! Ordered food to go and the driver was SO nice and the food was absolutely AMAZING! He forgot to drop odd the chips and made it back with them before we noticed! We definitely recommend!

Omg! We were told about Albertos from our hotel and she was right! This place is delish and everyone is so nice! I never went without anything! Every person on staff made sure I was good and didn't need anything! Such a great experience! Will definitely tell everyone about this gem!
