Alberto's Crystal Cafe

I hadn't been to Alberto's since they moved, this restaurant is so clean and inviting. The staff was great, our waitress Danielle was fantastic. The food came out quick and very tasty. I will definitely be returning.

Was some growing pains moving to the new location. BUT the staff has met the challenges of becoming the number 1 restaurant in Big Springs TX.
I suggest this place over any other in town.

Just had a delicious lunch here in a nice, clean restaurant! The entire staff was efficient &. Courteous. Dressed professionally, with no ‘bull rings’ and looked their part. Kudos to the owner, mgr, and the entire staff. 👍!! 3/1/2023

The new place on Gregg underwent a pretty nice update on the outside and inside. However, it is hot on the inside so either avoid until its fixed or get a cold beer.

Service was slow and uneven but this visit occurred while they are still working out the kinks on owning a large restaurant. We received our Queso before we had chips. Queso was luke warm before we had chips and so on.

Fajitas plate was pretty good. Tender meat loaded with grilled vegetables made up of 6 slices of meat. I can tell on a future visit this will still be a good option when the cooks hold back on the char flavor. However, the fajita plate doesn't come with cheese or sourcream.

We will visit again but will wait a week or so.

This was our first and last time at Alberto's.From the ink and fishing tackle on the faces of the floor staff we thought that we were at a Central American Gang Meeting. The service was ok. When the server brought our food she was holding the plates with dish towels telling us that the plates were hot. Not only the plates but the food also was cold too the point of being chilled.

Service is good, but food was clearly under the heat lamp for 15+ minutes. Rice and Beans were burned to a crisp. Not worth the crowd, the wait, or the money.

1 waitress, 5 people filling drinks, and 1 person taking out food. There were probably 45 patrons in the restaurant.

Excellent service from a great staff. Drinks and food came out quickly and out waitress was on point!
Salsa was a bit disappointing. Seemed to be mostly tomato sauce with large chunks of onion and not much spiciness.
Chili sauce on the relleno was cold and the beef in my taco was dry and overcooked.
They were busy, so maybe the kitchen was in the weeds abit.

We had a large party and they seated us fairly fast considering how busy they were. The wait staff was super friendly. The food was fantastic. Great job! We will be returning and will also recommend this place to others.

Service is horrible and salsa tasted old. We were seated and when the waitress finally came over she was rude. She took our drink orders and we waited for 10 minutes while she stood there so we left after never receiving our drinks. They had Maybe 6 tables at the time and 3 of them being on her side.

The salad bowl was amazing, took three days to finish, and I likady-like-like liked it, loved it, and I will get some more salad next time go.
