Alberto's Crystal Cafe

we were in late because i drove in from out of town and my kid was acting out being terrible so i had to get her settled down in the car. my friend sent her son to bring something out to me/check on us and watched him and her family’s there all the time. we were NOT trying to dine and dash. idk i felt super judged personally, it’s hard enough to take your kid out to eat especially after a road trip idk thanks though i guess.

I ordered a combination fajitas plate. It came with chicken and beef fajitas mixed with onions and a sliver of bell peppers, rice, and beans. It also included a small bowl of guacamole with pico, some chips in a bag, some salsa, and two tortillas. The food was good but I think it was over powered with onions and not enough bell peppers.

This was our first time here and honestly wasn't impressed. Didn't care for the food, it was very salty and small portions for such a high price. The waitress, she wasn't very friendly, she seemed more interested in her coworkers than us. The other patrons around us were friendly and recommended what they thought would be a good plate to order. Definitely could've went somewhere else, spent less and would've been much more satisfied. This may be right up other people's alley, but it just missed the mark for us.

Need some baby sitters to watch the cooks in back. Ordered tacos and the chicken meat came to the table literally cold. The nachos that were ordered at the table came with the meat piled underneath the chips and cheese was not all melted. The waitress laughed. We waited for a replacement for the tacos that never came. The manager failed to come speak to us. We won’t be back…Sorry, I believe if there were more restaurants in town that you could sit down at, Alberto’s would go under.

We just got through eating lunch here this is one of the best places we have been to and the service here is top-notch

I gave them four stars, all the great food, but one, lol. Had to take them down a star because of the Chile Relleno. I've been eating there for years and I cannot recall an un breaded relleno. They said they never used the egg batter. I think I would remember that, but it might be possible, strongly doubt. But there is still a lot to order and is one of the better restraunts in Big Spring. Couldn't believe they just put a little sauce and cheese on it! Should call it a stuffed pepper. Everything else is a 10 out of 5. Rellano a solid 1.

The new location is gorgeous. Food is amazing and the service is so great. We will keep going back to Albertos time and time again.

Very good food and attentive service. Good margaritas. They were packed and very busy on a Tuesday night. The waitress, Providence, was very pleasant and took good care of us despite the very busy crowd. Had large screen TVs everywhere which many like but I find them somewhat distracting. Overall great experience. 👍

Spacious I hate when we are cramped and can’t talk bc others are so close
Chips and salsa were good had a little heat but not over the top
I had a beef quesadilla lots and lots of cheese the beef was better than ii figured it would be tender and wasn’t over cooked
Staff was VERY friendly and tried to make it a good dinner

Service sucked, too much money for a little portion of food. We waited a good 10 mins before we got our chips. SMH won't be going back.
