Extremely rude and dismissive tone from the worker. Didn’t get to order. Asked about the vegetarian/vegan options for a friend and was taken aback by her response. Then when trying to ask a question about a non-vegan dish she cuts me off and sternly responds “NO VEGAN OPTIONS”. I ended up not ordering.

She seemed very busy, stressed and annoyed.

I've tried two bento box items. The pork chop bento box is nice but I like the chicken bites bento better. The chicken is extremely juicy and the meal is very sufficient. Price is a little high for me to want to go too often but it's worth it. If you go around noon, expect there to be a wait. And remember, this food truck isn't open on weekends! --4.5 stars

Only ordered the chicken because we had a long time to wait for a different food truck.

Wish I’d ordered all my food here! The chicken was juicy, seasoned right and crunchy enough to not be a flaky oily mess. The sauce that comes with it is delicious.

I’ll be coming back to try their other food

Absolutely delicious! The chicken is always fresh, hot, crispy and juicy and the service is always wonderful. Love this gem. Highly recommend.

The pork belly bento was delicious. My daughter and I shared it as there was plenty of food for both of us. Definitely a must try if you visit the Thicket

Got the chicken bento. Absolutely fabulous, for around $8 you get large portions, all of which is delicious. Cabbage is crisp and flavorful, and everything is perfectly seasoned and freshly made. Not much to say, if you're on the fence about going here then GO! We'll worth the stop.

I've had every dish and it's genuinely hard to pick a favorite! Love the large portions. I'm so lucky to have a little piece of authentic Taiwanese cooking in my backyard!

Great Taiwanese street food for a cheap price. One of the best value Asian places on UT. I especially recommend the $5 dollar chicken box but you really can't go wrong with this place. Make sure to eat here in the early afternoon because they can sell out in the evening.

Great Taiwanese good joint. Be aware the portion is huge so make sure you are hungry when you visit!

Song La just closed after 2022/12/09. They replied: “don’t know when/if we will be able to reopen, as we’re trying to figure out a way to stay in Austin.” Missed memorial Taiwan Food site.
