This place is a (not so) hidden gem. The fusion between Texas Barbecue and East Asian cuisine is seamless. The menu just works and each dish is carefully thought-out and executed perfectly. I guess that’s what happens when two of the best chefs in the world come together to make magic happen.
Absolutely beautiful environment with amazing service. I struck up a convo at the bar and asked about the Karagge and how it’s prepared (I’ve worked at a high-end Izakaya spot) and next thing you know, I was greeted with a free karagge dish just for me and my table to enjoy. No strings attached.
They care about delivering a great experience, and it shows. Incredible food and atmosphere. Oh and super quick service once you’re in.

Very interesting Asian BBQ fusion concept. I came in around 2pm Saturday and was still pretty busy but no need to wait. Challenging to find parking at peak hours.

Went out with a bang! Mandarin Margaritas, Crunchy Sweet Corn Fritters, Chair Siew Pork Belly, Smoked Prime Bavette, and Candied Kettle Corn (shredded burnt ends and spicy kettle corn) This town is Weirdly Awesome 🍻

This spacious restaurant has really amazing food. The chicken sandwich is crispy and juicy. 5 star recommendation!

Spacious & plentiful outdoor seating. Order inside & they'll give you a buzzer; maybe you order a libation, if it suits you, to enjoy while you wait to be paged.
A server suggested adding the cucumber salad to the kale salad. This was a welcome modification, a delicious & verdant situation; I would do it again.

A bit hit and miss. The brisket, cheeseburger, kara age, and crispy potatoes were phenomenal. The char siu, turkey, and bavette were a bit disappointing. Nice big patio with lots of seating with a good selection of drinks and great happy hour specials.

If you haven’t been to Loro yet, run, don’t walk. Fusion at its best with uchi and franklinbbq chefs. I love the chicken karaage, corn fritters, frozen gin and tonic, frozen Vietnamese coffee with bourbon. No reservations, so you’ll probably have to wait to be seated. Fabulous patio with fans make it easy if you like to sit outside. Hubby loves the burger, chicken sandwich and the brisket sandwich.

I love the simple and casual nature of this restaurant. That doesn't mean the food will disappoint; in contrast, it will surprise how well-executed the dishes are, and you can't go wrong with any of the options offered.

Loro has solid food and top notch vibes. The karaage is a must-try, and the Malaysian Curry Chicken bowl is packed with flavor.
Pro tip: go for Happy Hour (2-5pm on weekdays) to avoid waits and for solid food and drink specials.

New must every time i visit austin now. Beautiful interior with a great rustic patio. Food was delicious and extremely creative. Great contemporary bbq with the taste of delicious franklin meats. Had a beer and the wife had a cocktail and both were really good! Will be back soon!!
