Loro is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at. The corn fritters is an absolute must try, they will blow your mind. The chicken karage was flavorful, the batter was infused with a sweet sauce, it was crunchy, and perfectly cooked. I got the beef brisket with a side of rice and it was amazing. The fat was rendered, melt in your mouth and the meat was tender, Smokey and umami. The service here is great, it’s laid back, trendy and you can spend hours eating here with no disruptions!

Nothing was out of this world but it was good for the price.
Typhoon: it is really good
Ginger old fashioned: it is ok
Kyuri mule: it was really really good
Aki sour: better than the old fashioned
Chicken Karaage: the ones that had the aioli tasted really good, others needed more aioli
Cocunt scented rice: it was really good
Crispy potatoes: they were just potatoes
Oak grilled zucchini: it was ok, nothing special
Char stew pork belly: it was the star of the meal
Smoked beef brisket: it was mostly moist

If you're a fan of Texas BBQ and Asian fusion cuisine, then Loro is a must-visit restaurant. This innovative eatery takes the already incredible flavors of Texas BBQ and adds a new dimension with Asian-inspired ingredients and techniques.
What really sets Loro apart, however, is the addition of acidity to their dishes. This is something that is often missing from traditional Texas BBQ, but Loro has found a way to add that missing element and take their dishes to the next level. Whether you're enjoying their tender brisket or flavorful pork belly, the addition of acid really brings out the flavors and elevates the entire experience.
While Loro is a bit of a departure from traditional Texas BBQ, it still pays homage to the classic flavors and techniques that make it so beloved. The fusion of Asian and Texas flavors is truly inspired, and the execution is flawless.
I would come back here over and over and over again, if didn't live thousands of miles away :(

Loro was so unique !
Had some hits and some misses for the food.
Hits:
- the wonton chips and dip - the peanut sauce and salsa verde are the best thing we ordered. This is a MUST.
- crispy potatoes, karaage chicken, Malaysian chicken bo ssam
Misses:
- Texas Sweet Corn - no flavor to it
- the smoked prime Bavette - this was very pink and extremely chewy. Not a fan of this.
Overall, I will be back! I want to try the bowls and the happy hour looks to be so good!

I had a great time at Loro overall. It gets extremely packed and the line to order food was long. After ordering your food does come quickly! The drinks were good.
My favorite was the salmon. Everything else was just ok. I wasn’t super impressed by the flavor or quality of the food. I thought the drinks and atmosphere were the highlight of this place.

Loro is one of Austin’s providers of tasty unique eats. Each menu item seems to effortlessly appear from the kitchen specifically crafted for a discriminating palate. However, no matter how unexpected and different the dish is, the result is the same - yummy, yummy! Just go!

We stopped here for lunch last Saturday and we loved it! Loro does fusion so so well. We had the rice bowls and the brisket sandwich and they were so good. My friend who was visiting from NYC said that the fusion here was done impeccably.
There was no wait at all, despite it being a Saturday, and there was plenty of seating and parking when we arrived at noon. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

This place is as amazing as ever. We went when they first opened -- there's a little less on the menu now and it's easier to get a seat, but otherwise, nothing has changed.
It's worth all of the hype.
We had the zucchini (the best you'll ever have, hands down) which was served with a perfect creamy but spicy sauce and the coconut rice to start. The coconut rice is my absolute favorite rice in the whole world. Better than anything I've had anywhere else in the country or the world for that matter (better than Thailand and Singapore). It is absolutely magical. The texture is perfect and diverse, both soft and with gentle crunch where appropriate. It's out of this world.
If you go on Sunday be sure to get the pork rib, which was phenomenal and perfectly sauced. Austin knows good bbq and this can hang with the best of it. You don't need (or even want) the delicious sauce on the side because the way it's served is already perfect.
The Vietnamese coffee has a pretty serious first bite. You definitely get the alcohol you pay for with it.
The atmosphere is fantastic. The music is at just the right level so you can't hear conversations around you, but you can hear your table.
They're dog friendly and everything feels clean and fresh, no matter how busy they are.
Don't walk, run. This place is a gem!

This place is a must visit. Asian fusion BBQ. So many flavors. I had the brisket, steak and all the appetizers. You order at the bar!

Food here was a mixed bag. The Caramelized Cheddar Burger was awful and I tasted no caramelized onions, cheddar or the spicy pickles that were supposed to be on it. The brisket plate was really good but you don’t really get much brisket for the $20 price tag. Corn fritters were good too but they tasted like something you could get at any bar. Also, we waited on line at the bar for a while and right before it was our turn to order, the older woman behind the bar yelled back, “I have to count my drawer so you’re gonna have to order somewhere else unless you wanna wait longer.”
Overall it was an average experience and I’ll be in no rush to return
