I was hoping for a diner locals went to for years and years, and that's exactly what we got! Food great and Kari was awesome!

Great old world restaurant. Having been around since 1929 they are here to stay.
Ask for Angel. She is the best.

Shrimp plate $17.?? No taste 😔😕 super expensive for a sad plate. Waitress either short staffed or just tired. Was nice. 2 adult plates , 2 kids plates $70!

Got the crab patties as the special on a Friday afternoon, with mashed potatoes and carrots. Short wait time and food was piping hot! The crab patties were super crispy and well seasoned. Mashed potatoes were slightly lumpy, my favorite. Everything was wonderful, and our waitress was very nice and attentive. Finished with the delicious home made bread pudding, it was SO GOOD! I'd definitely recommend if you are in the area. Butterchurn is a must too!!

Service was terrible it took a long time. The food was bland.

Great place to eat. Hardest working staff around. Just like home cooking.

Daily dinner chicken fried steak was yummy. We ordered the baked potato with salad as our two sides. Asked for white gravy. It was tasty cubed steak. Definitely not the best ever although it was good for the price point

The one just up the road in Rockport is far better but they aren't open for dinner.
The food at this one was good for the price, but my wife's roast beef was awful. I didn't like the onion rings either but my food was ok. Our server was outstanding though and the pie was pretty good.
