It is family owned and great presonal with good food.

Had breakfast at the daily special while everyone else was having lunch.had a ham and cheese omelette with a small pancake. Glass. Of tea. Sure did enjoy it . the service was wonderful.

Friendly staff, lots of locals frequent here so you know it's good. Never ordered something we didn't enjoy (except the French toast which was kinda dry)

My husband and myself has been coming here, since they open it. It's one of our favorite restaurant, here in Alvarado. Some of the best food is here and my favorite is breakfast and there chicken fried steak and fried cat fish. And the best waitress are Amanda and Brenda. 💖

Not Today, they were behind. I walked in and even the clean tables w wrapped silverware was dirty. Not the same girls working as I have seen before. One more chance I'll write them off. Also seen others heading there and advised them of slower service. They went somewhere else too. Church moves faster than today's staff.

A very cozy and relaxing place to visit that is between Dallas and Fort Worth, TX. It has that “ grandma’s kitchen “ feeling and is a highly busy location. Fast paced service, plenty of room, and not to mention that this restaurant is located near a small plaza which means a bunch of other places to eat and shop.

We are full. Stopped for lunch as we were driving through. Good food, good price. Fast service.

The food was great but our waitress lezlie was horrible to us! Very rude and mean to our kids. We will not be returning because of this!

Disgusting. They have a horrific roach problem that never seems to be treated. As I was paying for a coworkers meal and I was standing at the counter I saw roaches crawling up the wall in the kitchen and my coworker found one in the sugar on the table. When you see the employees eating food from home or from other restaurants then you know something is wrong. Be observant people! This place should be closed down for the complete lack of cleanliness.

Incredible people. So peaceful. Couldn't even pay for my meal cause some awesome person I don't know did. Will be back of course.
