Great hometown dining! Amanda was terrific, food very good and portions very good size!

While it wasn't spectacular fare, or the best service or the best checkout experience, the people were very sweet and the environment was cute and comfortable. This might be a place where you find what you like and order it over and over again because there were obviously several customers who knew the drill and we probably local regulars. We were visiting the area and it was our first time.

This little gem is always amazing. Service is great every time. We have had the burgers,club sandwich, catfish, chicken fried steak...always great tasting food!

Absolutely love this little cafe!!! My husband and I have eaten dinner & now lunch here. The food is off the charts yummy!!! The lady running it by herself is awesome! Excited to try it again & again. Oh we've had a burger, club sammich, catfish, and the huge chicken fried steak. All very delicious!!!! Thanks to them for there service and great food!!!

This place has good food and the waitress was great. Where it dissappints is the atmosphere. The tables were sticky and the waitress assured us that they were clean but just old...something that a felt back plastic tablecloth would easily fix. It's very small so several parties came and left because their were no tables available. Waitress said they opened a restaurant in Venus but they had to close, probably during COVID.

Absolutely disgusting! This place used to be okay. We went in a few weeks ago and had the worst food. I literally sent mine back after one bite. I ordered an omelette and the home fries. The omelette had more grease than filling... I mean you could see the pile of grease inside. The home fries were more of the skins instead of potatoes in grease that tasted like it has not been changed in weeks. My son's cheeseburger was almost burnt with half a slice of cheese melted in the middle of the patty. I showed the owner and he could care less!

The staff was very friendly. I tried one of their burgers with grilled jalapeños... it was delicious. And HUGE! I'd go back.

This was my second trip there and both times I have been underwhelmed. The first time I had the catfish which while decent lacked anything unique, the batter tasted like anything you could buy off the shelf with nothing added, and the green beans are obviously from a can. Today's trip however took the prize... my "toast" comes out as some half hybrid caught somewhere in limbo between toast and bread with liquid butter swirled around it. The hashbrowns and pancakes were obviously cooked at too high a temperature. The hashbrowns were dark almost black in some spots but the inside was still slightly cool. The pancakes were the worst part... they were slightly over done on one side (black scorching) and the center of them was dense and reminiscent of playdough. Overall, both my trips here have been sensationally mediocre, would not recommend to anyone.
