Great comfort food. Soups, sandwiches, and salads are your main choices. The zucchini bread is ridiculously good. The side of macaroni I had with my dish was so good, I could have had a bowlful. Next visit, I plan on trying one of their desserts. They all sound tasty.

Hickory Street is always a wonderful experience! I especially love their zucchini bread and chicken salad! The service is always great too!

Hickory Street Cafe is a gorgeous, quaint little cafe and gift shop. Their food is amazing, especially the chicken salad sandwiches (with red grapes & pecans!) and their zucchini bread melts in your mouth. Order the raspberry iced tea with your lunch to wash it all down. Everything they serve is delicious! Excellent service and friendly staff. They also have lots of precious gift items to choose from or just admire. I definitely recommend Hickory Street Cafe for lunch or brunch with a friend any day! 🧡🥀🦋

Very quick! We got our food about five minutes after ordering. Lots of different bread choices for sandwiches and they are all very good. Very affordable as well. We had pumpkin cheesecake for dessert and it was amazing.

My order consisted of hot chocolate, potato soup and zucchini bread for starters. The hot chocolate was Swiss mix in the box and not homemade. The zucchini “bread” was cake just like carrot cake almost. The potato soup was tasteless and had only one potato chunk in it. The sandwich was sub par at best just literally everything was store bought and not worth the time.

Great place to stop for a nice lunch. On a road trip and stopped. Lovely place you can sit outside. Would recommend making reservations. Very popular ❤️

What a great place been here for over 30 years gets busy at lunch time so I had to do it to go order so no pictures of the food...

Stopped at the Hickory Street Cafe for lunch on our way to Palo Duro Canyon from Cypress, TX. Ordered the soup and sandwiche, all of which were delicious and nice sized portions. They also offer very tasty gluten free items which was a plus for one in our party. The atmosphere is very cute, the service was prompt and friendly even though they were fairly busy. The dessert items were also delicious, homemade, and very fresh...again offering a gluten free option. The waitress even offered us more coffee for the road! Would definitely recommend and stop here again when passing through!👍

The staff are kind, welcoming, and pleasant. The noise level is minimal and one can have a conversation without having to raise their voice. Usually there is a small waiting time to be seated. It's a popular place. The zucchini bread with Philadelphia cheese is magnificent. Just buy the entire loaf lol because one slice will not suffice. I wish they had more vegetarian options... their vegetable quiech varies daily. The spinach and onion is not my favorite. However, on the few days they have other options- it becomes a must go day! They sell kitchen items that are displayed in the entrance. They make cute gifts. It's a must check out at least once kind of place :)
