Trout Mountain Coffeehouse & Inn

I have traveled all over the world and eaten in some very fine restaurants along the way. Once in a while… you are so very pleasantly and maybe even unexpectantly surprised! Such was my experience this last summer when I came thru the doors, kinda dusty and tired from a long motorcycle ride. An over the top experience with a delicious French inspired breakfast. Now… pay attention - when they ask you about their in house made whipped cream with your coffee… no matter how you like your coffee… just get it!

Oh what a wonderful place! My husband and I stopped by on a day trip into town and while I was outside feeding my 10-week old son, the owner sent out a cookie and water for me to enjoy. It was the sweetest gesture and made my day. The shop is beautiful and our drinks were delicious! You absolutely must try the hand pies too- the raspberry filling was perfect. I can’t say enough good things about this shop and the owner! Definitely check it out for yourself.

Was in town visiting my in laws when we happened upon this coffee shop. And I LOVE unexpectedly finding a local coffee shop! Had one of the best lattes of anywhere I’ve ever been in this sleepy little mountain town! It is not to be missed if you are traveling through this area!! Creative and fresh flavors. Can’t wait to find an excuse to go back.

Our breakfast experience was lovely! The hosts were super friendly and even made accommodations for our dog! The omelette was absolutely amazing! Such flavors! The kids loved the crepes! We’re only visiting for a few days... definitely going back!

We stumbled upon this gem of a B&B and are big fans. Everything was literally perfect, from the hospitality to the bed to the room details. We were welcomed with cookies and a note from Cheryl and Vance. We enjoyed chatting and getting to know them and their story. Breakfast the next day was delicious, try the chantilly cream! We fell in love and are planning to be regulars. Thank you Cheryl and Lance!!

So good! Coffee is awesome and the brisket was amazing. Fast service. This is the best food at a coffee shop and I say that with due respect. Plenty of coffee shops have very good food, but this one is literally top notch. Wish I took a photo before I ate it! Haha

The food menu is limited too a few specials that change but they do a good job of offering very different options so the lack of choices doesn't feel like a problem.

Made our morning!

We came for our anniversary weekend and we’re blown away by the lengths Lance and Cheryl went to to make us feel welcome! Fresh cookies upon arrival, the most luxurious bed I’ve ever slept in, deep soaking tub that was just what I needed after hiking in the beautiful Tellico Plains. We slept in the next morning and went down for coffee and breakfast and I thought, wow. I didn’t know it could get any better. The coffee and company were the perfect ending to our stay. We are coming back again and again!

Extremely hospitable staff. The food? Wow! French press coffee to order. The manager allowed me to take up space for over 2 hours while I ran a Zoom meeting. We were camping at Indian Boundary, so I took a load of fresh gourmet foods from their fridge back to camp. I highly recommend this place!

I didn't stay at the Inn, but the coffee shop is very nice. The service is quick and friendly. There are lots of options. They also bake all their own pastries. No need for a Starbucks here.
