love the food and vibe here! I can definitely taste the traditional flavors of the food! pleasant experience overall :)

Don't bother,, I had horrible food and service,, Try McDonald's on Broad St.

The food was good, it came out fast and hot. It was busy but everyone was really nice and attentive as allowed considering how busy they were! When we visit TN again we will definitely come here again!

I'm sure it's an awesome place to eat but I ordered grilled catfish and it was covered in so much butter, the cajun seasoning was non existent. Great atmosphere and awesome staff. Next time I'll order fried fish. Will definitely be back

SO good! This is my new favorite breakfast place in Murfreesboro. Great food for a great price. Biscuits were soooo good. I love biscuits and am pretty picky about them. The pancakes are HUGE btw. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. We will definitely be going back soon. I am excited to try their lunch next time; my mom's burger looked really good.

Loved this cafe!!! Food was GREAT and the service was outstanding! It is a small restaurant and you will have to wait, especially on the weekends. Saturday they had live music. I highly recommend this one!

I've been to City Cafe a few times, and if they're anything, it's consistent! The food is okay. Not bad, not great or excellent, but okay. Portions are large, so expect to be full or to take stuff home. If you're on a special diet, expect few options (but what do you expect at a southern joint like this? Haha). If you're celiac, I don't recommend. If you're GF by choice for other reasons, you can send your biscuits home with a friend 🤷. It's a Boro institution, so everyone has to go at least once!
