Super cute gift shop with all kinds of unique things in stock. I had too much fun browsing their books, sniffing candles, and shopping for lapel pins.

This is a cute gifts and coffee shop in Memphis. I was waiting for a table at a restaurant next door so I popped on over to City State to have a cup of chai tea. I ordered the dirty chai and it was delicious. It had a perfect blend of chai tea and coffee. The staff at City and State were very welcoming and the service was great. The store inside is very neat and has a big assortment of goodies—books, decor items, accessories, gifts and much more. In addition there is an outside seating area that is well decorated— perfect for photos.

Great coffee, clean, bright place, good music, and nice outdoor seating. I will say that the bathrooms are sometimes not properly stocked, missing soap, paper towels, etc.

Favorite coffee shop in Memphis. Everyone should come. Great coffee and cute shop. Love you guys!! Keep it up!

Great coffee and good service. I recommend this one over tamp and trap if you’re trying to decide where to get coffee and you’re from out of town like I was.

Tough parking situation, terrible service, mediocre coffee. After my experience with their staff I will be spending my money elsewhere.

Their chai latte is something I would get over and over again if I lived in the area! The baristas are kind, and the atmosphere is rad 🙌🏼
