Disappointed!

One word is all I can say, Disappointed! After seeing Donna on WBIR channel 10 in Knoxville the wife was so excited to have Valentine dinner here. She made reservations but really didn’t need them. But that’s not what was disappointing, it was the food! We were all excited about the Prime Rib they showed on TV and they advertised they would have that for the Valentines Dinner, NOPE! It was cut roast beef (FAT) in juice. We asked about the Prime Rib and was told “Oh if you want Prime Rib, I will have to get the Kitchen to cook it for you. It will take a awhile so let us know.” Let’s just say still no Prime Rib! This dinner cost $55 per couple, and Outback or Texas Roadhouse would have been better, and we know we could have gotten Prime Rib there. Now for desert they all appear to have been frozen and taken out of a box. They looked like they were from Kroger or Walmart. Drink glasses, well the clear plastic cup was only refilled once. The best part was the little ladies selling roses. They were dressed up and cute as could be. This is a one and done for us after traveling an hour for Prime Rib that is no where to be found. As I stated before, Disappointed! Just Disappointed!!!...

Well it just got worse as we were walking out, $66 for our meal. Keep in mind the tables, chairs, bowls, and cups were plastic. And I was reminded about the spoiled sour cream for the potatoes. Well would you believe McDonalds for Valentines Dinner! Happy Valentines Day!!!

Their breakfast buffet offers a variety of foods. Something for everyone.

Really nice environment. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. 10/10 would recommend. I always get the buffet because there always is amazing things on the bar and don't even get me started on how good the desserts are.

Tracy was our server and was so incredibly kind. We are from out of town and walked in about 5 minutes before they closed, not knowing. They were extremely accommodating and the food was amazing. We left full and happy but Tracy’s service and absolutely lovely personality took the cake for me. Thank you!!

Donna's Old Town Cafe has the best chicken salad sandwiches around 🙌. I like mine toasted on raisin bread with lettuce and tomato.

I cant even begin to say how amazing this place is! The staff are so nice! The food- The food Here is delicious...

It’s a small town cafe with good food and service but the owner has for some reason recently started posting signs that might make a customer feel less valued. Like “ Be nice to whatever staff shows up” and “stop unfolding the shirts” that they are selling. I’m my opinion that’s not a great way to greet your customers who are there to spend money in your store and in your restaurant.
