Donna's Old Town Cafe

This was our first time eating here. The staff was fabulous they were friendly and attended to us often. The food was delicious. We both were full and had left overs to take home. We will definitely be back I recommend everyone make the trip to Madisonville to eat here.

Good home cooking with all you can eat.

Frist vist ever been there had the bar what I notice was some food was great taste great some food wasn't done raw and some was over cooked burnt service was good a nice and clean on inside they just need too work on food don't burn it don't serve it raw exspeacail potato cakes so nasty but some food was good and ok basically work on foodie you wouldn't eat it don't send it out

I am being generous, it tastes like leftovers out of my refrigerator. The atmosphere is wonderful for a small town. And after I wrote the review the manager immediately texted me to apologize and to see what they could do better in the future. I will move my rating up to a five. Just because they truly care

Great Sunday buffet with my family we all enjoyed it very much.

Cute place for quick breakfast. We stopped in here one morning to grab quick breakfast after my 92 yr old mom had her first COVID vaccine. This was my first time but my mom and sister had been there before. They have a breakfast buffet, which we didn't order, but ordered from the menu. Portions were large enough to share. Cool vintage look inside and lots of old photos of the area which is always fascinating. Friendly wait staff too.

A lovely little family run restaurant. Donna and her daughter Melissa are fabulous people. They restaurant is a buffet style place with menu options as well. It's always freshly cooked and delicious. They also offer catering and have a meeting hall type place upstairs for large party type groups or meetings. It's great food and good people and great prices.

Very nice place, really good food,friendly service. If your looking for a nice meal in the area I wouldn't hesitate to eat there. I'm a very particular person who wouldn't eat just anywhere.

I don't care much for this place. The younger girl that waited on us was sweet . But the two woman that seen us walk in give us a like that they didn't want us to be setting at the seating. I'm a very outspoken person didn't want to cause a problem. So i ask the young girl who was the owner 🤔 want be going back there again!!

The food here is just fantastic - southern home cooking done right. Good variety on the buffet esp for the size of the restaurant. Price is very reasonable for the buffet as well (we have never ordered off the menu.) Staff is friendly and helpful. I love the portion sizes of desserts - small enough to try several or eat one without waste or overeating. We found this place on accident a couple months ago and now have driven around 45 mins each way multiple times for the delicious food. Interior is also nice and cozy and well kept. Bathrooms are clean and neat as well which I feel like many establishments neglect. Will continue to return.
