SideKicks Café

I pass through Nashville often for business.
I stop at Sidekicks regularly for a great cup of coffee, a good meal, friendly service and to sit by a window enjoying the ambience catching up on work cause internet is there.
Great neighborhood hang. Great porch too. Thank You Sidekicks

My wife’s best friend flew in to visit so I was looking for a breakfast spot that would have diner food with high quality and wasn’t a chain restaurant. Sidekick Cafe hit the mark perfectly.
I had the country ham with my breakfast plate and it was exactly what I was hoping it would be. The hash brown casserole was good, not the best I’ve had but good. The biscuits were light, and the gravy had chunks of sausage in it.
They have several coffee options which was nice.
The women working were very nice and even brought out some Cinnamon Rolls for us because, “sometimes we like to spoil people”. The cinnamon roll was the best I’ve had in a long time.

I just moved to this neighborhood in April. Wanted to try out this cool cafe with a friend visiting from out of town. I was greeted by the friendliest ladies and the best smell of fresh baked cinnamon rolls! Amazing coffee and friendly service. Just went back for the 2nd time in a week and same experience of friendly service and great coffee. So glad to have this close to my new home!!

I am pleased that local Christians have a place to experience mediocre food.
The Anne Burrell wannabe (who, from her brusk attitude and over confidence, one must assume is the owner) evidently knows neither how to run a cost effective kitchen, nor the definition of “melt.”
Some small cafés offer an abundance of style at the expense of quality food. Sidekick’s lacks both.

Luckily, 1 Corinthians 10:31 tells us,
“whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” You don’t need to eat or drink at Sidekick’s to glorify God, just do whatever.
But do it somewhere else.

Wonderful staff, great food. Very pleased with every order. I recommend all my friends and family to come here. If you haven’t tried it out, you need too!

Customer service is welcoming, food is comforting with great flavor, and the cafe is darling! Loved dining in here and the beautiful flowers that were placed on the tables. The walls and bookshelves were also interesting to look at while waiting for our food. Before we ordered, it was a bit busy so they brought out some fresh muffins (which were delicious) for everyone while waiting in line! We will definitely be back!

Good food and very nice staff. Has a comforting atmosphere, like you're visiting a friends house and their mom is cooking you food.

Excellent, friendly service with good food. If it was about 20% less expensive, I'd definitely be back and give them 5 stars.

Really cool vibe from this small Cafe and Coffee Shop on the Northside of Nashville. Everything we ordered was good, some bordered on excellent.

Live music on Sunday morning. Not too loud, just a guy and an acoustic guitar which added to a nice experience here.

Worst Customer Service!! I walked in to an empty restaurant. The owner was on the phone. I was going to get a coffee and some bakery treats for my family. This was about 7:15am. Since she was on the phone I stepped away to peruse the case and read the menu posted on the wall but mostly to give her privacy. Once she was off the phone I stepped over and smiled and she looked at me and said “I can’t wait on you for 30-45 minutes I’ve got a big order”. No good morning or even offering to ask what I wanted. There was another lady working and she saw the stunned look on my face and said can I give you a cup of coffee and I said there is NOTHING here I will ever want and walked out. I do not care about your big order. There were 4 people working in the kitchen I saw them plus the owner and the other lady. If a business owner would rather send people away and be rude they don’t deserve to do business.
