SideKicks Café

I found this place today called Sidekicks Cafe. It was so damn good! Best Pimento Cheese Bacon Burger! Great desserts, which I came home with 5 of them. Have not tried yet but they look great! Staff was so inviting, sweet, kind and attentive. Shout out to the Chef Karen! Love how we have the same name! I will be returning to try the whole menu, as there are so many these I want to eat.

Here for the first time and this place is super quaint and I can tell it is run and operated by someone that loves what they do. Coffee is great and I got the Loaded Biscuit with Country Ham and it was out of this world. The biscuit was made from scratch and the meat is local. Highly recommend for a small local restaurant experience.

The best omelet I have ever experienced, so much flavor. Staff was awesome, the chef is God sent with a super loving attitude. 🥰😍

Since I was in Nashville, I decided to eat things for lunch that I would never eat, or maybe even have access to, at a place in St. Louis: housemade pimento cheese and pink stuff. Yep.

I got a pimento cheese and bacon sandwich on toasted sourdough, and it was pretty darned good! The bacon was super crunchy next to the creamy pimento cheese, the lettuce on top was fresh and crisp, there was also a tomato on it, and it all made my mouth very happy. I still can’t get over how very crunchy, but not burnt, the bacon was! It made the sandwich.

Sadly, after I placed my order online, I got a call saying that they were out of pink stuff. How can you be out of pink stuff? What is pink stuff? I guess I will never know!!

I substituted a fresh made cherry turnover instead, which I ended up being very happy with. The pastry was soft, moist and flaky, and it was filled with real cherry filling, not that bright red gooey stuff you sometimes find such things.

My order was brought out to my car quickly after I arrived, and the waitress was wearing a mask, which I found satisfying.

Highly recommended. We lucked out. On a trip from Pittsburgh to Nashville and 30 minutes from our destination we asked Google maps to "find breakfast along my route." We scrolled through the list and chose SideKick's Cafe because of it's rating. From the moment we entered the Cafe we knew that we had chosen wisely. The biscuits and southern gravy were awesome! Love those biscuits. And the staff and other customers were very friendly.

Best breakfast ever!! Cookies are out of this world delicious!! Owner and Chef are the epitome of southern ladies and so welcoming and hospitable. Everyone in the Nashville area needs to check them out!! You definitely won’t go away hungry!! Love this place!!

Amazing biscuits and service was so good! Environment is great and sweets available for now or take home.

Please look at this Watery bowl of suppose to be gravy. I'll was trying this place because I pass by it every day for work.
It wasn't worth my time and monies $26 dollars exact. It leaves me with this question, " discrimination or just low down"? I won't be returning, and please don't feedback and say you are sorry because you're not.

I love this cafe! The owners are very friendly and helpful and I have enjoyed all of the food I have tried!
