In town for a weekend getaway and we looked at the reviews of this restaurant so we thought we would give it a try. I had the scramble plate that was on special and my wife ordered the omelet.

The scramble plate was good but was a little too salty. The omelet was not good. It was made with canned mushrooms and lunch meat for the ham. The juice from the mushrooms was running all over the plate making the bottom of the biscuit all soggy, which you can see it in the picture I attached. It was so salty my wife could only eat the egg part of it, which was a bit over cooked.

If I lived here, I would definitely give it another try because I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt and try them at least twice but since we are out of towners, not able to do so.

On a positive note,
The biscuits were delicious and the gravy from my scramble plate would have made amazing biscuits and gravy.

The service was wonderful and the staff were very nice.

After tax and tip we spent about $35 with no beverages. The price was no big deal for us because we understand the high cost of everything right now, just thought I would let people know. The portion sizes were huge, so the food cost was commensurate with what you received I didn’t feel cheated at all with the cost.

Searched for local breakfast places and stumbled across SideKicks. It seems a bit diminutive and unassuming from the outside, with a covered porch that is likely nice to brunch on during the warmer months. We came in, immediately greeted with a friendly smile. Got a paper menu and took a nearby seat, to get the descriptions behind the many menu items.
I ordered the omelet and my companion got the smoked ham and egg sandwich. We took a seat and didn't have to wait long before the buzzer went off, maybe 10-12 minutes.
The omelet was huge! Seriously, it seemed like a football that was cut down the middle. Fluffy eggs, loads of toppings, and plenty of melted cheese. Really really good. The sandwich was great too, with the pineapple making itself known amongst the rest of the ingredients.
The service was friendly, attentive, and on point. The decor was warm, cozy, and homey. The food was plentiful and very tasty. A+

Amazing find! While driving through Nashville we found this GEM. Super friendly environment and amazing staff. The loaded biscuit was amazing! Home made biscuit was perfect and the eggs were so fluffy it was a perfect combo. The fiancé got the ham sandwich with Gouda and pineapple jam and loved it! The latte was made with honey and vanilla and it tasted great.
1000% recommend stopping by this gem!

This place was a dumpster fire at best.

The moment I entered, you could fill the hostility of the staff. Not towards the customers, but towards the other employees.
They weren't overly busy, yet the employees were very tense and snippy towards each other.

Anyways, I ordered a breakfast sandwich, bacon egg and cheese to go, along with a cinnamon roll to go.
When they completed my order and gave it to me, I checked it, and they had given me a piece of pie, and a pimento bacon sandwich...

I told them their mistake, and they took it back to remake it.
Meanwhile I sat down, waited a few minutes, and a older lady from the back came up to me and asked me why I didn't want the pimento bacon sandwich that she had made for me.

I told her that it was not what I ordered, and pointed to my receipt, she made a grunting noise, and asked me that since I didn't order it, maybe I could tell her who did.

I was at a loss, because I didn't know that answer, especially since I was at the one taking orders, nor do I work there.
She stood there next to me, fuming for a few seconds while looking around. She then tossed the bag containing the incorrect order on my table, and walked away. She never said another word.

Confused, I took the bag back up to the counter and told them I was still waiting on my correct order. They were under the impression that the bag I was just given was the correct order.
I explained that it wasn't, showed it to them again and they sent it back to be remade again.

The lady in the back obviously didn't like that, and verbally complained about it.
Already weary of the confrontation, I just decided to leave without my order, and I'll let the credit card company dispute the charge.

First time customer review went on a week day for lunch got the avocado toast it wasn't the best seems as they just took the avocado mashed it on the bread with spinach, tomatoes and seeds no seasonings were added. They have parking available, indoor and outdoor seating. Didn't see alot of vegan/vegetarian options. Not sure if I will return do to very few options to choose from.

Love coming to Sidekicks for breakfast or lunch. Their food and portion size is amazing. Always fresh and delicious. We have never had anything we did not like. Karen’s holiday cupcakes are fun and beautifully decorated. Bought a couple for our grandchildren. I mentioned to Karen we were driving to Ohio for Christmas after we had our breakfast and she surprised us with an incredible lunch for the road! Such a thoughtful thing to do. There is no other place in the area that offers such great food and friendliness.

Perfect spot for southern breakfast and coffee. The ambiance is low key and simple. Order at the counter and take a seat outside on the patio. I ordered the breakfast platter with eggs over easy with sausage and a biscuit with gravy. Hit the spot! The cinnamon roll was wonderful warmed up.

The omelette is huge and tasty. I loved the huge piece of sourdough toast that came with. A little on the pricey side at $15 bucks but definitely not outrageous. A nice little splurge on oneself, if you will. The lady at the cash register is very nice and quite an individual. I'd recommend it.
