Extremely fast, friendly service with comfy indoor seating and clean restrooms. The Golden Roast also has free wifi and an outdoor fireplace. It's a very nice local coffee shop!

Loved the coffee. Looks like they repurposed an old church, I'd love to see more businesses like it

The staff was amazingly nice and welcoming. The place inside is has a chill/relax vibe to it, with a modern/industrial feel. The chairs were comfortable. I asked for a milk tea, which is not their specially, but the they were very accommodating. I was grateful that their ambient music wasn't too loud like other coffee places, so I was actually able to have a conversation with people. The fact that they're open from early morning was also a big plus! An overall nice experience. Will definitely come back.

Excellent coffee and service. I bought a bag recommended by the barista and it is a home run!! the atmosphere very inviting. I will recommend it but if you like to compare better make your choices. This is a nice and unique place, and remember coffee taste depend of your mood.

All around this is a very good little shop. I've had some very good experiences. However, I've also had some not so good experiences. The shop is inconsistent and it seems that it is most likely do to the training as the experience really just varies based on who is working at the time. Recently, I ordered a Chai Latte with Irish cream, and there was so much Irish cream it made me want to gag. I have consistently not been able to get a hot drink over the last six months. As I write this, I am drinking a hot house mocha that was hardly above room temp when I first got it. At first these problems were intermittent, but as time has gone on they have become more prevalent. Everyone here is really nice, it just seems like Many of them need a training refresher. It also probably doesn't help that it seems like they are all the time training new people. So in conclusion, it would be five stars, but It is hard for me to justify consistently paying five dollars for cold coffee.

Review for a Latte:
I came based on reviews. I pulled in and was expecting a great latte, as there’s a good vibe. I ordered a 12 Oz latte, but they only had 16 or 20 Oz lattes!
I said they don’t need to fill the milk all the way up, but the coffee tasted burned, like there was only an ounce of milk, and that the milked was for a cappuccino.
For $5 this was a really disappointing experience.

Great place, wonderful coffee, but they need to hire more workers given how busy they are at the new location. Pay your staff more if you need more staff.

The worst “breakfast sandwiches” I’ve ever had a coffee shop. I can undoubtedly say I can make a better one at home. A store bought croissant, premise egg, cheese Abe spinach slapped on. Wasn’t warm or worth the money. The cookie butter mocha was tasty but won’t be visiting again.

Very nice cafe. I was a bit skeptical. The baristas here are top notch. The inside has comfy seating as well as tables. I had a bagel and it was toasted very well. The only negative I have is that I wish they had better non dairy options.

Severely let down. This is probably the worst coffee I’ve ever had. Visiting Knoxville, I stopped by based on the reviews. Ive had far better coffee from gas stations. Watered down, bland and slightly burnt flavor. Nothing exciting or redeeming. I would rather have day old, Folgers. I hope this was a fluke and this place is normally better.
