Sunago Coffee

Great atmosphere and great products! I feel many times, small businesses, unfortunately, don't rise to meet expectations, but Sunago does. Everything from the ambiance, to the product selection / quality. You can tell they put time and attention into their business, and it shows.

I ordered a vanilla/ mocha dirty chai. In another East Tennessee, cute, trendy, mostly college-aged kids visited coffee shop this would be called a "Black Tie Affair." Now I don't have to drive over an hour to enjoy it!

Service was fast and friendly! Shop and eat local!

I love this coffee shop. The coffee is excellent and the atmosphere is very earthy and modern.

Their coffee is delicious. It is perfectly made by a barista and not mass produced in a rush. Their pastelitos are delicious!!!! I had their guava cheese pastelito. As a Puerto Rican that ate pastelitos growing up I am impressed and ecstatic that they are selling authentic, delicious pastelitos!!!! I would absolutely recommend waiting the five minutes for it to be warmed up!!!

I’m not one to give bad reviews but when I try somewhere that only has 5 star reviews…I figured it was a safe bet. I ordered a latte…breve. The girl at the counter didn’t know that word. The coffee was not awesome as other reviewers had posted. I also ordered a coffee cake…for $5.50! I expected delicious. It had no flavor, it was dry and tasted like sawdust…as if someone forgot a few ingredients. I will probably not go there again. As expensive as it was…it should have been so much better.

The service and atmosphere are only (slightly) outshone by the coffee they serve. Double shot espresso was one of the best I’ve had. Just had my first visit there and already looking for an excuse to meet up with someone and go back.

Super chill vibes, grant ambiance. Excellent customer service! The PSL is *chef’s kiss* perfection 🤌🏻 and the pastelitos are delicious. Coming from SFL my husband and I were delighted to have a little taste of Cuba right down the street from us. Highly recommend this place! It’s my new go-to!

Fabulous place with friendly people. The building was having issues so I will definitely be back for some more fabulous coffee!

I was in town for 5 days visiting and i came to sunago every single day, sometimes to work and other times just stopped in. The coffee, the kombucha, the food, all was amazing. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great for studying or working. I am excited to come back!

Atmosphere is a 10, but after trying both a hot latte and an iced latte, the coffee itself tastes very weak. My husband nor I could taste much of the actual coffee flavor, just a very watered down slightly flavored drink, much like most of the other coffee shops in knoxville :/ I am rooting for this place!
