Fantastic team! Amazing atmosphere! The concept and theme behind the origin of Sunago is so wholesome and wonderful, and I’m excited to see them become a pillar in the local community! For them to offer small local businesses a space in their store, is one of the many reasons why they will go a long way brewing coffee and love!

I love everything about this coffee shop!!! I just hate I can't visit as much as I don't have the time to wait. So many times I want to stop by and grab something but I can't afford the wait time. I know it is hard to get staff, so I get it!

One of my favorite coffee places! Such a chill vibe and their coffee is so good 😋

This shop is absolutely wonderful. The coffee is delicious and the speciality drinks are very well made. They’re still ironing out a few kinks and sometimes it can take a few minutes longer to get your drink than if you were at a National coffee chain but the quality is so much better and the wait is honestly worth it. The atmosphere cannot be matched. The shop is inviting and the staff is very friendly. I love that there’s a section dedicated to local artisans and I even found a wedding present when I went in to grab a morning coffee.

Beautiful atmosphere, great coffee. Also the owner seems like a wonderful person; he greeted several patrons by name when they came in. I actually decided to visit based on the kind & professional way he responded to the 1-star review below. They are supporting TONS of local small businesses, which I love. And you can tell they care about hospitality & details (see photo of cards in the bathroom you hand to the barista if restroom needs cleaned—it was spotless, BTW.) I heard that everything wooden in the store was handmade by the owner, so cool! Staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!!

Bad experience all around. Owner is very disrespectful.

Update: This is my personal opinion on the experience I had and I’m sorry you feel this way. Have a wonderful day.

Love this coffee shop! Very smooth coffee and very delicious pastries! Even got a free bag of coffee with the purchase of a drip coffee on national coffee day!

Great relaxing atmosphere with plenty of seating. Wide range of flavored coffee drinks. Goods for sale from various local artisans which I think is AWESOME! The staff has without exception been very friendly and enjoyable. It’s kept clean throughout, including the bathrooms. I’ve visited several times. Wifi available and a large table closed off from the primary seating area which is useful for getting away from some of the ambient noise if you’re there to work remotely or study.

The coffee itself is not the focus of this shop. Their bean selection is virtually all heavily roasted and, in my opinion, mostly uninteresting. You cannot find a unique, small batch single origin Ethiopian to try as a pour over here, for example. They primarily use coffee to make flavored, sweet, and/or heavily milked drinks. Don’t ask for anything not on the menu. I ordered a cortado (which is not on the menu, but nonetheless a common milk drink in specialty coffee shops). The owner didn’t know what I was asking for and although they attempted to make it for me anyway (to their credit) it did not turn out great. This is not so much a specialty coffee shop as it is a specialty “coffee drink” shop. Menu wise, Sunago is by far a stronger competitor to Starbucks than it is to either K-Brew or Jacks. Their menu isn’t what I’m into personally, but I do think they are doing this type of coffee shop pretty well — and it’s probably the kind of coffee this particular area of town wanted most.

They have a selection of pastries. They are all quite beautiful. Taste has unfortunately been hit or miss though. I liked two quite well, but took only one bite of two others.

If you plan to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere — bring a jacket!!! It’s been uncomfortably cold for me each time (and I’m usually HOT natured, it is very unusual of me to have this complaint). A couple weeks ago it was 75+° and sunny outside, yet customers inside were quite strangely all bundled up wearing their hoodies.

It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

This place is so great! We were looking for a coffee hang out spot for a Saturday night and most coffee shops are closed after 6. As of today, this place is open until 11 on Saturdays making it perfect for studying or hanging out on the weekend. I highly recommend the blueberry scone!

I've been a few times since they opened last week and have really enjoyed the coffee and relaxed atmosphere. Everyone that works there was friendly and helpful in explaining their coffee. I generally find dark roasts to be too bitter, but their Campfire dark roast was delicious!
