EDIT: Provided all transaction details. Hope you can find it to see what went wrong. I'm rooting for y'all's success!
Sunago has a cool atmosphere with lots of tables and great hours to be able to study late into the evening.
However, the espresso based drinks do not taste good and are inconsistent every time I come in.
The pricing is wildly out of line with competition and also different every time I come in. The owner rang me up last time and I paid $7.10 for an iced caramel latte. I just can't justify that price when other places taste better and are cheaper.
I want this place to succeed, but I don't think they've had honest feedback based on the reviews here.
Come here to study, but be careful what you order and bring a jacket ( it's very cold ).

The owners and employees are always so cheerful and welcoming. The handmade wooden pieces are stunning. The coffee is perfection, and the case offerings are delicious. You will not regret supporting this small business!

This review is long overdue. I live in the Hardin Valley community and have coffee here or work meetings once or twice a week. My teenagers love the coffee, ice cream, and a safe comfortable quiet place to study near the high school. I see HV friends often here and it’s nice to have a spot bringing people together, eliciting joy. The owners and staff are super people that consistently strive to create community and improve their products and service. They are open and approachable and smile, a lot! Talk to them. Ask them questions. Get to know them as they want to get to know you. I usually order a drip coffee but I also enjoy the chorizo stuffed croissant. It’s both sweet and slightly spicy. The hand made artists goods made awesome stocking stuffers this Christmas, and are always great when I need a a nice local gift for visitors or clients. Thank you, Sunago!

I think this place has very good coffee, but I can’t say the same about pastries. I had a croissant last time. I think a better croissant is very flaky such that the layers are also visible inside when you take bite. The croissant I bought was almost bread like and lacking butter flavor. I guess that they outsource bakery, and I think they can do better with another supplier.

Sunago has become mine and my daughters favorite place for coffee (the caramel frappe is amazing) and ice cream. Everyone is so friendly and it’s such a happy, homey little place to hang out. Hoping one day we will finally find Yoda! Lol

Really cool coffee shop in Hardin Valley. My wife saw photos online so naturally we had to go see it. Really good coffee, treats and hangout spots they have fun little games going on as well as looking out for certain "hidden items" placed in the shop for free stuff. They also allow people to sell theor own honey, candles and other items you can just pay on your phone and take with you.

Sunago has quickly become my "work from home" space. The baristas are knowledgeable and friendly. They truly care about their customers.
I love that they offer local businesses products, thus supporting our community and deepening the bond in Hardin Valley.
If you are looking for a great latte, am affagato or a very afforable scoop of ice cream in Hardin Valley, look no further than Sunago!

I think I was overcharged (I ordered a medium caramel latte and she put vanilla and added caramel which was an extra 50 cents). Paid almost $8 for a medium latte .. sort of ridiculous considering it wasn't very good.
Update: Thank you for the reply and offer for refund but it's not necessary. Mistakes happen. I would give this place another try based off kindness of the owner.

Most amazing coffee in town! Staff is very welcoming and amazing at what they do. Definitely becoming my favorite regular coffee spot!
