My husband and I visited on Friday for lunch. We were lucky to find a parking spot because they are always slammed! It had been years since we had been here, but one thing has not changed: it's awesome! I had the club and my husband had a bacon cheeseburger. They were both top notch. The onion rings were some of the best I've had. We sat at the counter so our waitress never let us run out of drinks. She was such a sweetheart and really knows (or gets to know) her customers. You can tell there's lots of regulars. She talked us into dessert. Ok, it didn't take much convincing. The peanut butter pie and banana pudding were phenomenal! Their prices are great for the amount of food you get. We will definitely be back soon for breakfast!

Super cool, "hometown" diner. I had a patty melt, wife had brisket sandwich. Didn't notice we arrived (traveling) 20min before closing time... Staff was SUPER nice. Even offered dessert! I'd recommend this place not just for the food, but I'll go back just for the level of service and attentiveness! It was refreshing to have such genuinely (seemingly) happy people working there!

I’ve been eyeing this place for a while now, and decided today to stop in for lunch while I did some schoolwork. I’m so upset I didn’t come by sooner! The food was incredible, my server Aaron was super prompt, and it just felt comfortable. It’s the perfect blend of burgers, hot sandwiches, and comfort food you don’t find everywhere anymore. I ordered the chicken and dumplings daily special, with green beans, Mac and cheese, and the cornbread. Plus a side of fried okra, and the banana pudding, because this just seemed like the place that would make them the right way.

Our first time there today for breakfast and everything was phenom. I had the pancakes and bacon and my wife tried the biscuits and gravy and the western omelet. I can not tell you how much we enjoyed our server and our meal. I have driven by this place many times in the last couple of years and kept telling myself this looks like a good place to try out. I was not disappointed. I told the cashier that it was our first time and she said to come back and try the burgers. WE SURE WILL

I'm out visiting here in Knoxville, staying with family. Nick's was suggested for breakfast and we all decided to head on down. Nice, small establishment here. Definitely had to wait a bit for a table, but it wasn't hateful. Once sat, our service was stellar and the food came out quick. The griddle biscuit was pretty great. I had a portion of buttermilk pancakes as well that were so-so. All in all I'd go back, definitely an enjoyable experience.

Best burgers in Knoxville!!! Nick & J’s is our favorite place to go for great diner/comfort food! Everything is delicious and made fresh. The staff are always super friendly even though it gets crazy busy at times. They also have a phenomenal breakfast menu! If you ever get the chance to stop by you definitely need to try it, you won’t be sorry!!!

We were visiting from out of state and passing through Knoxville looking for a place to eat and found Nick & J's online. When we pulled into the parking lot, we knew it was going to be good, because the parking lot was full on. Monday morning. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and seated right away. Our server Anthony was wonderful and the food was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed hearing the regular customers interacting with the staff, everyone was having a great time. The food came out in about 5 minutes piping hot and tasted wonderful. We both got the meat lovers omelet, I added veggies to mine and we had biscuits and gravy. We were so full, we didn't eat until dinner. If we lived in the area, we would be regulars for sure! We will be coming to Tennessee a few times a year and will make sure to make our way back to Nick & J's.

Brang yo belly, Baby! This cafe offers thick-juicy burgers that easily rival any steak house fare. Salads are fresh. French fries hot and crispy. It’s too easy to get to this place to pass up on this deliciousness. If you get hungry 30 minutes down the interstate, I tried to tell you! Get here and get full!

I've only ever heard good things about Nick and J's but this was our first time dining here. This fun diner lives up to the hype.
The service is prompt and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the playful bamter between the staff and regulars. It creates a lively atmosphere.
We both got the Meat Lovers Bowl which is loaded with eggs, onion, peppers, diced tomato, cheese, home fries and of course, bacon, ham, and sausage. The portions were huge and they tasted delightful.
We look forward to many return visits.
