We ate here today and by far this is one of the best places to eat in Knoxville! Very clean, amazing service, and delicious food!! If I could give 10 stars I definitely would!

We visited Nick & J's yesterday after having read the rave reviews. All the other 5 star reviews were right on the money. Their 3 egg omelet and buttermilk pancakes were awesome! We cannot wait to return for our next visit so we can experience their lunch menu. Also, be prepared to enjoy your time there, in addition to the food. The owner & his Bride have a wonderful knack for making the customers smile and engaged in enjoying life.

Just an UNREAL experience! Had to come in after hearing friends talk about it for so long. Couldn’t have been better, truly. They were busy, which we expected, but didn’t wait long at all. Food was hot/fresh and very good. Had lunch, but wanna get there early enough for breakfast next time. Couldn’t have gone wrong either way though…. My God, the FOOD!

Staff couldn’t have been nicer, more attentive, or welcoming!! This is the literal definition of a “Mom & Pop” place… and I like to think I know a thing or two about those. The ownership is first class, top notch; their professionalism, and very specific mastery of what they have created bleeds into everything they do & everything you’ll experience from the moment you’re greeted as you walk in till the moment you leave.

Can’t wait to go back! 🤌🏼

We stopped by driving through, the entire experience was enjoyable. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious. The portions were large and the price was reasonable. Next time we will get there early to try their breakfast . This will definitely be one of our stops every time we are in Knoxville.

1st time eating there! Food was prepared fresh in front of me and came out hot. Got the Stacked Turkey sub with fries and it filled my belly. Good flavor and a good amount of turkey and fries. Can't wait to go back and try something else. 😀

It was super crowded when we pulled up but I was told later that it wasn't a busy day. The wait was quick and the food was amazing! Love the sense of humour from the host and the waitresses. It was like a big family reunion in a cozy little diner. Definately found our new breakfast place!

Nick & Jay's is by far the best spot for lunch in Knoxville, period. I called in my order around 12:15 and went to pick up around 12:30. There was a line around the building to get in and there is a good reason for that. Their food and menu variety is superb and the customer service is simply unmatched. I was in and out and back to work in no time. I highly recommend!!!

I moved to Tennessee rather recently after my family had first settled down in the Knoxville area. They took me here as the first local restaurant, and I can clearly see why. I visit here and grab a bite to eat at least once a week, because it is that good. Their Maple French Toast is easily the best breakfast I've ever had, with their Grilled Brisket Reuben and Patty Melt being some of the best sandwiches I've ever had the pleasure of eating. On top of all of that, the staff is incredibly kind and competent, the epitome of a family business. If you're looking for a casual sit down with a great atmosphere, excellent food and staff, this place is for you. Make sure to swing by at a slower time, place fills up quick, and for good reason!

We go for breakfast or lunch almost every Saturday, today it was the busiest we have ever seen it! The food is always great but today my grilled ham and cheese and a cup of chili just hit the spot! Naj and Linda are the best and the staff and service is always top notch! They close at 2 on Saturday’s, but I don’t think they will today, It’s 1:30 and the line is out the door! If you haven’t been, you gotta try it soon! You will not be disappointed

Amazing service and delicious breakfast! Will definitely return. I tried Crystal's bowl and couldn't stop till it was empty. The biscuits and gravy were excellent. This wasn't the bland white flour and pepper gravy you'll find a lot of places... This was thick rich sausage filled gravy. You won't regret a visit here for breakfast. Now I need to return for lunch.
