Busy & popular hometown style diner. Great burger and fries! Also the pastrami brisket sandwich with Swiss and spicy mustard was delicious!! Plus the server was fantastic…efficient, friendly and funny! Definitely recommend Nick & J’s Cafe 👍🏼

Amazing food in an old-fashioned friendly style cafe. Loved their food and atmosphere. Would highly recommend but beware that this place gets very busy almost all the time (closed for dinner).

Great people! Great food! The owners are spectacular! Feel like going to granny's for breakfast, but with the whole neighborhood,(that's the part of the granny you have to share,lol) Highly recommend all their food!

This was my first time eating here. They were friendly and well staffed. Our food was prepared fresh and served hot. I noticed the waitress asked the cook to put on a burger when she saw a customer come in. I assume it was a regular and she knew what they always ordered. Neat place. I'll definitely go back again.

BTW, I ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was the special of the day. Delicious!

My burger was huge! Beef was tender with good flavor. Grilled bun was a really nice touch. Fries were hot and cooked well. It’s popular so it gets crowded. Go early or wait until 1:30.

The folks here are fun to talk with and incredibly friendly! Other restaurants could definitely take a page from their book. You won't be disappointed by the food either, super fast and super tasty! I'll be coming back for sure!

We were looking for a great local breakfast and found it at Nick & Js. I had the blueberry pancakes, which were very good. The homerun was the griddle biscuit with chicken tenders - surprisingly amazing. We will come back next time we are in Knoxville.
