I just adore this place! 10/10 coffee and vibes! Iced coffee and iced matcha with oat milk are my go to drinks, but literally everything on the menu is amazing. As a mom, I especially love the outdoor space that’s enclosed, so I can enjoy my drink and let me toddler roam!
Had a mocha that was perfect. Enjoyed browsing the displays of plants and gift items while waiting for drinks. Enjoyed the comfortable chairs in the book room. Pet-friendly too.
I have had such a hard time finding great coffee in Knoxville, and a friend recommended Jack’s to me. I went in to get some work done and try out their coffee. First, the ambience of this place is immaculate. They have the most beautiful plants for sale and plenty of cute little gift shop tchotchkes. Now for the coffee, my barista was so sweet and I tried a seasonal latte called the cinnamon bomb. This latte DELIVERED!!! I have problems with lattes being so acidic I can’t drink them, and acidity was not a problem. Hands down the best latte I’ve been made in Knoxville and I’ve probably dropped a couple hundred trying to find good coffee in knox… I felt super caffeinated so I tried one of their pressed sandwiches and it was also super yummy! Great vegetarian options. Highly recommend this place and I will be back soon.
I’ve always enjoyed the coffee at Jack’s but I will say this as a new mom to a one year old.
I was a barista for 5 years and loved the coffee scene and I am a firm believer in not having your child dictate your life. However, the coffee scene does not cater to those with kids.
Several times this past year, I’ve had to change my son only to find that none of the bathrooms having a changing station or even a table so I’m left having to change my son on the floor or in my car. Additionally, there are never any places for kids to sit so you’re left having to wrangle or having to wrestle them in your lap.
I was so, so appreciative of the little table/chairs with crayons and coloring pages. That little addition really blessed me and my friend who brought her two children. We were able to catch up and feel like adults. We loved the patience and thoughtfulness of the staff.
Everything else at Jack’s was great but a place for kids really made us feel seen as stay at home moms, so thank you.
It’s a great vibe and another great option amongst the coffee culture in knoxville. I got the cortado and it was really good with a lean more towards the espresso. It’s also super convenient being next to the food truck park if you’re looking for a caffeine boost or just a place to chill in doors. The shop is great too. Staff is friendly and are engaging with customers. Definitely recommend a stop in.
They make great scones and decent drinks, the atmosphere is great, and the people are usually nice, but the wifi rarely ever works. If there are more than 5 or 6 people in the store and you want to get some stuff done, don't expect to have any internet connection on their network. Unless they fix that, I would rather go to any other coffee shop in Knoxville because there isn't anything else about the shop that other coffee shops don't have.
Easily one of my favorite coffee shops I've ever visited. It's becoming my go to spot to hang out while working remotely. The plants really make the place cozy. Now if they started serving beer I'd never have a reason to go home...
Jacks has a super chill atmosphere with good coffee. I enjoy all the plants around the shop, and they’re for sale! It’s a good place to hang out with a friend or do some homework!
If you’re looking for a calming coffee shop with a great atmosphere you won’t find it anywhere els but Jacks. Both of their locations are by far the best in Knoxville. The staffs are all genuine, friends, and honestly some of the loveliest baristas I’ve met. They really care about their craft and it really shows. Would definitely recommend checking them out. ✌🏻
