Like wise is a great coffee shop. The staff is so nice and amazing people. The coffee shop has a great environment. The coffee is always great. There are many places to sit and get whatever work you have or even enjoy time with your friends. The parking lot is on the other side of the barbershop across the street.
I come to likewise for coffee once every month or two. It’s not my favorite place, but it’s a good type of different if you want to shake things up. The coffee is really good, but not the best. However, the is the best coffee for the price! There’s many open spaces here for small groups to meet and it’s super quirky and excellent service. There’s not a lot of parking and for there being a lot of rooms, not many spaces for a lot single people. The thing that prevents me from coming here more often is the weird sour odor that’s hard to ignore. I don’t know what it is or where it comes from? I highly recommend stopping by and checking it out if you’re unsure.
Great coffee and friendly service with reasonable prices! Nice place to meet for coffee or work remotely. (Wi-Fi available)
For those interested in ADA access…. -very nice ramp to the front door - no automatic door opener - reasonable access to tables and eating counters -restroom access (see photo) -low to no thresholds
Impressive 1st visit! Enthusiastic & polite Baristas, who are eager to get your order right.
Space: Neat chairs, counters, couches, tables & various nooks to meet a friend & catch up or work a while. Medium-Calm vibe, boho deeper feels.
Coffee: Nice cuppa ☕, more on bold side. Cappuccinos aren't super traditional (soda water, & correct sz cup).
Score: Only 4 stars because parking is limited, front of bldg needs some maintenance, Cappuccinos aren't as traditional (+ not using local milk), surprised music wasn't Christian (considering name / mission) & inside plants need some TLC (it was all this Plant Lady could do to not water / tend them, lol).
Remember to grab a treat off the counter for the 🐶🐩
Totally worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood. 😎
Brutal experience from coffee to latte to food and service.
To start - they made my order for a Flat White with non dairy as a wet latte with regular milk that came out 12 min later with no other order ahead.
The “breakfast sandwich” was supposed to be on a “croissant “ for $3 extra dollars and it was airport BREAD… no folds, no flakes, not a croissant in any degree.
The avocado was old.
The egg was flat and likely from a freezer.
The coffee on drip was waxy and dull (supposedly an Ethiopian medium roast - already a weird combo) - the small sips I had lead to heart burn which is not something I get.
lastly, service - when I eventually got the flat white I returned after tasting it was made with milk (old at that) and it was a long wait to find it wasn’t even being made and I said “I’m good on the flat white” and the kid working just looks lost and frazzled and replies “oh. Okay you sure?”…
No refund offer, no customer service, no acknowledgement how bad they were (unable to read the room - seems the ability to make coffee or espresso apparently wasn’t a criteria for this job).
Save your money go to CAPYBARA or FIVE & HOEK … I’ve visited most coffee shops of all varieties in the city and these two are the only worthy of time and the money for SUPERIOR coffee or any kind really. Pour overs at Capy, cold brew and specialty at Five… basic coffee and tea at Old City Java (one of the oldest coffee shops for students)
But do not support the inferior service, coffee, and food of this business until they get it together.
They have been open two hours and it’s already my favorite coffee shop in Knoxville! The latte is really good and affordable, not to mention profits go towards anti-trafficking. The space is also amazing (why aren’t more coffee shops in old houses?!?!) there are so many seating options and it is such a warm and welcoming environment. I’m In love 😍
It was our first time coming to this shop and now I have a new favorite place to be. The batista that was working was so sweet and made me the best matcha drink. The atmosphere is so cozy and clean! 10/10 recommend.
I'm from NJ my husband and I stopped here twice for iced oat lattes on our trip and it's was on point both times. Good quality oat milk and strong espresso! We will definitely stop back if we're in the area.

Lovely place to have coffee with lots of seating options and really good lattes! They roast their own beans!!!

Beautiful little coffee shop and always so friendly, even when they're busy.
