So the food here is pretty great. Different than most places in Kingsport. However, the service is really difficult to move past. Took forever to get our order then I had to say excuse me FOUR times and then my husband finally was able to reach out and touch the waitress to get her to bring our check twenty minutes after we had sat there and our plates had been cleared away. We could have been in and out in 30 minutes but instead we were there over an hour. The people next to us had the same luck trying to get anyone's attention to bring their check as well. I'm surprised they haven't been victim of a dine and dash if this is how hard it is to get a check.
Good food. Horrible service. This has happened 3 separate times to me just this year. I wait several months until someone convinces me to try again.

Great lunch deals and friendly service! Just wish it was less busy to place a Togo order! But a nice lunch spot!

I would like to give 5 star for Delicious food and for services. Dessert was delicious. One of my favorite food corner.

Great tuna wrap today! Service was a little slow today, but they were pretty busy. It's just not a place you want to go to if you need to get in and out in under 30 minutes. Our waitress was very friendly and curdious. I'm already bragging about their food to co-workers.

Good service and food was good. Portions on the club salad a little small for the price, but a good amount of turkey and ham along with bacon and really good homemade balsamic vinaigrette dressing. We ordered take out, but would be a quaint little place to eat in. Staff was exceptionally polite.

Nom nom nom! Eat here. Yummy sandwiches and soups with friendly service. Try their lattes with custom flavors as well.

The Mustard Seed is absolutely phenomenal! I highly recommend the bacon-tomato-spinach quiche, the kitchen sink salad (it’s the only time I enjoy eating kale), and one of the gigantic slices of cake. Wash it all down with a glass of blackberry sweet tea and you’ve got one of my all time favorite meals. To top it all off, the staff are delightfully friendly and willing to accommodate whatever you might need. The Mustard Seed is truly a gem!

This was a little gem once we walked in. It was pleasantly priced, with many local and artisan goods that I could find myself using. I'm not usually one to actually really get into window shopping, but I truly wish this was closer to where I live. I came away with adorable handmade earrings!

Very nice experience and very flavorful food. I had a turkey sandwich on one of their specialty breads. along with a choice of one of four sides I chose the fruit dish. The combination was delightful. Thank you, good job!

I arrived about 1:30 and asked to be seated near the back where it would be quiter as the front was very noisy, which makes sense given the building construction. The hostess (?) took me back but all empty tables were dirty she then said you'll have to wait for them to be bussed. I was seated about 3 or 4 minutes later which was ok. I ordered the 'special' salad with gargonzola and cranberries with a cup of tomato basil soup. The waitress confirmed I knew the salad didn't fall under soup/salad special, I liked that. My food came quickly and looked fresh. The salad was a bit small for the $8.99 price and the soup a huge disappointment. I've have tomato bisque that was better from a can, it tasted like pureed tomatoes with some dried basil sprinkled on top. I had heard many good things about this place and was very dissatisfied. I will possiblygive it another chance not sure given the cost and the quality I may not. $16.35 + tip for tea, soup and salad for lunch.
